It still goes on but tends to be unpredictable. Turning up on spec can be a bit hit and miss so its better to arrange beforehand, which takes some of the fun out of it. There are two couples in Munster who keep it alive. You know who you are !!  |

It does certainly still go on.. There will always be exhibitionists who love to show off and we voyeurs who love to watch them .. My Ying to their yang... ??
Granted, a few years ago, the scene was a bit "underground" and seemed to be a lot busier with lots of couples and singles playing at the spots we'll know to the scene pretty much nightly.. it isn't quite like that now.. .
It is as a previous poster described.. Very hit and miss even at these well known spots. Always lots of watchers with only the occasional players turning up. This has conicideded with the rise of smartphones and access to the web in my opinion. Players now have instant anonymous access to the web 24/7 so they have more access to arrange fun 24/7. However, everyone now knows what dogging is and everyone from adolescent teen boys to the fabled nut jobs want to know where the best spots are.. So threads like this (no offence to the OP) are part of the problem.
Asking the question "where are the best spots?" in this forum will normally illicit the correct response .. i.e.
Don't discuss these in public but that's here.. Not every where...
The well known spots are now exactly that.. well known To all, so are generally awash with blokes who have no idea of the etiquette involved. Some of the things I've seen happen when a couple has turned has been ridiculous so no wonder it turns couples off. It's a nerve wracking thing to do for any lady /couple so let's not make it harder!!
Fab/twiter/fb/kik etc have made direct convos much simpler So I say the scene is still very active but prearranged meets are more frequents.
So for those that say the scene is difficult to get into .. Good... It should be ... If Players are too nervous to indulge because they're fearful, then scene dies ... So for us genuine voyeurs the game gets a bit shit... It's just hanging around for hours on end with not much hope of anything exciting happening... like fishing!! Or living in Roscommon!??

No offense taken dubtom I just was asking simply because a few female friends of mine who come to my club have asked me wud I be interested in going with them to it wit a view of them playing and me doing security for dem but also playing too but wasn't sure were the decent spots were  |
