"If a woman wears her fellas hoodie and trackkie bottoms is she a CD? "
Yes although she most likely won't identify as that.
Jeans were originally designed as a mens workweat garment. High heels were originally.
Pink was originally a masculine colour and blue a feminine colour.
Social conditioning tells us what is "normal". People have the illusion of free will in their thoughts. The reality is much of consciousness by hijacked by external standards that we internalise as being our own thoughts. It is amazing what bias people have based on what society and era they were nrought up in.
So just a couple of examples of society changes its norms of what is acceptable .
Looking st it very practically it is sad to think men who crossdress are demeaned as beta/weak/faggots/weird etc when there is no issue with ladies wearing garments traditionally associated with masculinity. It means you look at women as weak and men as strong and the guy who crosssdresses must be weak. That says as much about your views on women as it does about your views on crossdressers.
The wheel is always turning. Interesting to read some of the comments here. |
