Who do they think they are??

Ok.. I have been a member on Fab, on and off, for nearly 10 years now, and I understand that women hold all the power on the site, and because I actually understand this, I have really enjoyed my time here... but what really really boils my piss over the last year is the way a large percentage of newer Female members, most without public pictures, INSIST on Guys sending a face pic as their very first action when making contact.... whilst I agree physical attraction is important, NO WAY should anyone request, or share face pics until fully comfortable, and when there has been some sort of connection eatablished via mailing..kik..whatever..I really see this as an abuse of their power, and complete taking advantage of their position on here..

I'd love for these women to comment on this topic and explain who they think they are making such demands......

I wouldn't agree with you that women hold all the power on the site. On the photos point, their asking for a photo. Their not forcing you to send a pic. Each to their own on their profiles and want they are looking for but anyone can set up a profile and I'm amazed at the amount of men that do send face pics to someone they haven't even chatted to. Apparently they don't have a problem sending pics of their cocks to all and sundry but sending face pics straight off, 'buyer beware' if you will,

The only person with power on fab is yourself.only do what you are comfortable and happy with.no one is forcing you to do anything.

Yes we ask for a face pic before a meet is arranged,we make it clear on our profile,but as I say,if someone isn't comfortable with that,they can always pass us by and move onto someone else.

Surely Fab is about having fun and not a power struggle as you seem to think. It may be shallow to ask for face pics, but that's anybody's prerogative, not necessarily a woman's either.

Move on if you don't like it.

Absolutely ask for a face pic before arranging a meet... It's the members with "send Face pic with 1st message" or the "messages without face pic will be deleted" comments in their profiles is whom annoy me... imagine a single man making such proclimations and demands on his profile... and I will respectfully disagree with your 1st statement... women on here 100% decide wether or not they will meet someone, or indeed sleep with someone.. that is the power to which I refer...

Im not referring to the percived shallowness of looking for a face pic.. it's the Demanding of one before any further contact.. Fab was never like this before.. now its all too frequent..

And I would never ever make contact with such a profile, I wonder how many are fakes??

I tend not to mail people first (there are a exceptions) and believe it or not women will message you first

Nope... I don't wish to ever meet someone displaying that form of arrogance on their profile. It's just that every time I read it my first thought is the hell do they think they are....

I think the OP is possibly referring to the "women" on here making these demands and not having pics up on their own profiles themselves, and generally no profile write up either? There has been a lot of the above behaviour of late I'm told.

Same can be said of demanding multiple met-in-person veris and not having any of their own?

I think more the remark that anyone contacting them not having the veris, attaching face pics, providing written proof of having slept with an asexual Unicorn whilst flying a helicopter with just your little finger using mind control, will be deleted / ignored gets to me (and possibly the OP too?).

I don't know, I don't really think it's driven by arrogance or entitlement. A female friend once showed me her inbox about an hour after she registered and she'd already received 100+ messages. Virtually all from guys, even though she'd she'd specified she was only looking for women and couples. I'm sure plenty here have had the same experience. So I can understand wanting to whittle that down somehow, and limiting your options to those with face pics is a decent way to do it.

I would never expect a face pic attached to a first message.

I have however had mail with one attached and then the sender has assumed i will return mine.

Eah..no..

Also.. if you ask me for a face pic have the common courtesy to attach yours to the message.

oh and OP profiles with demands for this and that.. imagine what they are like in real life..

I don't ask for face pics...I like to chat and get an idea of the person first and yes if we've agreed to meet and they ask or send me a picture I'll happily send one back, not a big deal to me anyway, just my opinion...
