It os a circus. Never really got the McG thing but now he is fighting the most dislikable bixer ever, I hope he wins. He's at a huge disadvantage against a seasoned boxer. You can't learn quick hands overnight. In UFC only one winner, but I'm afraid he'll get batterrd unless he has been sparring with top boxers and winning. |

It's true that Mayweather has a phenomenal record despite what people may think of him. He has the experience, knowledge and grace even if not quite as fast as he once was.
People shouldn't be so quick to write McGregor off though. McGregor started off boxing and it's with boxing that he is at his most efficient in MMA. He was also an all Ireland boxing champion at youth level. He may not have the same boxing grace as Mayweather but he still has swift movements and he can take punches. The guy has a chin on him like Desperate Dan. As well as that he punches VERY VERY hard. I don't think Mayweather will ever have felt anything like it before.
Look at how McGregor was an underdog against Aldo who had been champion for years and he knocked him out in 8 seconds.
I could be wrong but I reckon it really could go either way on the day. |

Connor has no chance in this fight. Mayweather at 50% fitness beats him easy enough.
Natural boxer wins everytime under boxing rules if it had been 8 five minute rounds with lighter gloves it might have been more of a contest. |

I disagree you have to remember that mayweather is 40 years old Conor is 28 . No matter how fit mayweather is you can't compensate for youth . If it goes past the 4th round without Connor getting battered which he won't because mayweather has very little punch left in him , he is just not a KO boxer , then Conor will win .
As for it being a circus , so what , fair play to Conor we should all be very proud of him . Top of his game through hard work and dedication |

I'm a boxer myself and McGregor has the same chance I would....a punchers chance! Yeah mayweather is 40 against a 28 year old but he's also one of the best defensive boxers ever, McGregor on the other hand is not a pro boxer, sure he looked class in the UFC but that's against guys who come from wrestling and other backgrounds who havnt been boxing that long....i could have beat some of them guys in boxing, he basically needs a bit of luck for one of his left hands to land! |

If mcgreggor hits so hard, how did Diaz take it all, laugh, stick up his fingers, and have mcgreggor run away from him to try win on points?
Sure, Aldo has never been hit harder, but not many "bigger" guys travel down to aldos weight class, as there is no money in it.
McGreggor made the fanbase (irish people) to travel down and get a big pay day beating up someone smaller, when it would not be worth the time for anyone else to travel down the weights.
150 is about their natural weights, only wee lads. If mayweather can go in the ring and duck and dive and eat some of Mannys big hits, be outclassed and still win, then McGreggor has not much hope.
I'd predict it goes the full length if McGreggor can last that long and Mayweather win on points. Then McGreggor claim its all a fix and return to beating up little people on ufc.
Also, mayweather was sent to jail for beating up a woman, and Australia wont even let him in their country. Before you pay to watch ask yourself do you want to give him money. |

As hard as he might hit im sure it will be different with big gloves on...and ten years difference is nothing to how fit they are....id be surprised if conor won...but he may well...at he same time he may wind up brain damaged...who knows...hes a cocky fooker but hes entertaining....itll be a fight to watch either way. |

McGregor grew up as a wrestling fan while Mr Mayweather fought in Wrestlemania so guess that's where the trash talking came from...

Did you see the state of Nate Diaz's face on both occasions after fighting McGregor. Second time round how many times did he knock Nate Diaz on his ass? Don't forget on those occasions when he fought Diaz he went up to 170 pounds. |

World class boxers have to earn the right to face Mayweather,they have to beat dozens of the best in the division. Money aside I don't understand why someone who has never boxed anywhere near Mayweathers level is even allowed in the same ring.

Big payday for both and TV...
Remember this n see if I'm right:
Mayweather will defend n push in round1..McGregor will try get in to batter... McGregor will land a beautie n realise mayweather doesn't flinch..
There's rounds 2 3 and 4...who's gonna tire first and let the knockout punch in... McGregor's a nasty lil bast**d but mayweather has the experience.. |

49-1 Conor gonna batter him no matter how good of a defensive boxer mayweather is. Many people underestimate mma fighters,those guys are tougher than nails. I mean sure there are some free style wild hard hitter guys, but most of incoming mma fighters are well train in many different martial arts, muay Thai, kick boxing,jujitsu many of this are no joke . Anyways also no many boxers have made it in mma it's simply not enough to be able to punch. Movements of mcgregor are gonna be different awkward for mayweather to figure out not your typical boxer I doubt mcgregor will come try to out box mayweather more so fight his style he has way more than a puncher chance 49-1 for sure |

McGregor will have been training with top level boxers since well before this fight was agreed. .he won't need fast hands overnight. .he has them allready..he has less to work on in this fight than any other..no weight cutting. .another big help to him ..he will be stronger...he will do a lot better than most think..
