I see some couples on here state they will only meet straight guys and not bi guys which is there choice and I have no problem with that. I am no and state that in my profile as it's the truth but the number of guys on fabswingers you are say they are straight but on fabguys they have same user name or pictures and are bi. Is this so they meet the criteria to get a meet and are couples fooled by this? Just thought I'd put this out for discussion and probably redicule but is it not better being truthful and quality meets are far better than quanity and bi guys can leave the guy alone just the same as a bi female can leave another female alone. Sorry for the long essay lol but let the debate begin |

Unfortunately even in this day and age there is still a stigma attached to bi guys where as bi women are more acceptable for why I can't truly explain but that's the way it is
On fab ull see a lot of profiles state no bi guys so by a guy admitting he's bi he has upped the odds of him not getting a meet. Now in all already crowed marked place where guys are a dime a dozen anything one can do to increase the odds of getting a meet u have to take hence this is why fab straight guys are preferring to tell porkies.
Is it right no because u have clouded the choice of those who do not whish to meet bi guys plus more than likely u will get caught out and cause grief either for ur self or those u met |

What the OP is referring to is what is known as cognitive dissonance. That's where a person has conflicting ideals or opinions. Most people think they are liberal, open minded and emotionally mature. I've seen different here. Ireland is still somewhat conservative in its views. Look at the majority of profiles from UK based site members. They are for the most part fully open with Face pictures on display. That doesn't happen in Ireland. Why not?
Same for bi guys. Most folks would state that they have 'no problem' with them. That statement in and of itself gives them away. Mentioning the word problem tells you what they really think. |

Having all the facts before meeting someone is better, as I said in another thread by guys lying about being bi/bicurious it is taking away the other persons choice of who they want to meet. I don't get the need to lie, if a woman says she does not meet bi guys move on to someone who does, there are enough people here to suit everyones tastes. |

You can only take someone at face value I'm afraid. You protect yourself from less scrupulous people by 'due dilligence' so to speak. If they have to pretend to be something they're not, usually other things will be off about them. Hence usually a social meeting first. |

To be honest part of what you said rings extremely true with a lot on the site, that would the part where you say single men hiding their bisexuality and not being straight (no pun intended) with people. I think lying is a far worse thing then hiding from true self. I played with a bi guy couple when I started swinging. Was no funny business between myself and the husband but the stigma they caught not just here but on fabguys was horrendous. No problem with bi guys here and that's from a straight guy.

That's what I mean. I hate liars and to me a spade is a spade as they say and it's better to be truthful as some guys are so called straight on here but verified by guys and verifications hidden. Did they just meet for coffee or did one of them produce the cream lol |
