Can we please get Sticky posts on Ireland forum?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I know and I will suggest this to Admin, though I suspect they'll read this too.
So bored of all the same conversations popping up again and again.
Can't we have stickies like other Forums have, such as boards.ie or AVForums, etc.
So my top 5 list that would be at the top of the page are:
- Why can't I get a meet
- Rate my profile
- Anal
- Best way to meet a woman here
- wanna fuck now/etc
Others that slip my mind right now but you folks know what I mean.
If there were a few stickies always at the top of the Ireland forum, we could skip the constant repitive conversations, plus newbies would have a lot of their initial questions answered.
Thoughts and additional categories welcome.
Ladies - I'm barring the I Wanna Fuck you NOW as we all know that you get them constantly on here and goes to the points mentioned above but feel free to add different ones |

Id agree about the stickies helping reduce the amount of repetitive threads. It would also stop the threads newbies start being turned into thread long jokes and private joke conversations by regular users.

Does a 'sticky' thread close after 175 posts like all the other threads? If so, there's not much point that I can see, at least not to cut down on the posts you've mentioned OP.
I think that new people like to start their own thread, rather than joining in on one where everyone seems to know each other. The repetitive threads might be tiresome to long term members, but just because the title and subject are common, it doesn't mean the actual conversation of the thread is. With different people and different opinions these threads can be fresh too, if we let them, instead of jumping on telling a new OP to "search the forum, it's all been done before". If a thread dies away, so be it, but at least let a new person try to break into the forum in his/her own way. I would also remind people that quite often, if an old thread appears back on the forum, someone will ask why that thread was resurrected after such a long time......possibly because a new person was doing what they've seen others told to do. |

Can the sticky say: The answer to your question is probably 'It all depends on the person'
...and also a good morning sticky, or even a seperate forum for the good morning folk -I'm just a begrudging bad morning person. |
