Why do women love Bastards?

Can anyone give me any insight as to why girls love bastards over a decent guy. All you ever hear is that girls are looking for a good guy, and all they seem to end up with is just idiots. Please tell me there's hope for some of us out there

What qualifies a bastard? And indeed, a decent guy? I'm so curious about this.

Same reason men date bunny boilers. In general humans are not very good at making smart decisions.

Somewhere between the extremes of being "a bastard" (or alpha male who knows what he wants and will step on his best friends neck to get it) and a "nice guy" (a sensitive and empathetic guy or "girls blouse") is a good guy and that's the place to be...

Use your charm, be cheeky but be a challenge too

I'd love to say it's about a friend of mine, but we know it wouldn't be true. But I've gone out with girls in the past and recently I went out with a girl and everything was great, great conversations, great to be around, and intimacy was hot. We broke up, and I was fine with it we stayed pals. She then ends up with a guy about 6 months later who treated her like shit, took everything she had to offer and then calls me to say "why are men such bastards, and asked why did we break up?" I'm not on a ego trip here but I just don't get it. I've gone out with girls in the last while and the whole "too nice" shit comes out. I'm not "nice" I'm just a normal decent guy, I've got my bad and angry side like anyone else. I just firmly believe some girls daddy issues or just want to be treated badly. I just don't understand it.

Have you ever felt that way about a woman? As in, she didn't end up with you?

Have you ever dumped someone and actually told them the really reason? Probably unlikely and I'm sure your ex's don't tell you the same either.

Woman like who they like, if that guy happens to be a bastard it's probibly not the reason why she likes him. Good guys are always jealous of the bad guys I know because I'm one of the good guys. I hope lol

I have at times actually kept a distance from woman who took a fancy to me in the past because i knew i would want to be with others and it would hurt her . Maybe if they wernt so nice i wouldnt have thought about hurting their feelings as much . Might be the same thing ?

I have in my younger days like when I was 20, but I'm always honest as I say I don't think it's gonna go anywhere because I don't fancy them in that way. I broke up with an ex because I knew that if we stayed together I'd end up cheating on her, and I couldn't do that to her.

People end up with whomever they like, truly. It's not a matter of good guy or bad guy. It's sad really, especially when we feel like it should be us they end up with. I suppose that's life and it's hard to take back an ex, especially as they are an ex for a reason.

It's human nature to love a challenge so the bastard or psycho bitch to tame has it's allure too..

Maybe she loves all the excitement of being with a bad boy even though he treats her like crap as part of the deal...

If she has the mindset that "all men are bastards" atm, what kinda guys do you reckon she'll meet in the foreseeable future? And do you need the hassle?

Look, if you're a charming good guy and treat women well and get out there... a good woman will come along without the drama

That's kind of my view and my point I suppose, I wouldn't be with someone if I couldn't give them 100% of me, And I would say it to them and break up with them. If I didn't fancy them I would say it also, to me that's the definition of being honest & respectful. As I said earlier I cared so much about a girl that I broke up with her because I couldn't commit I knew that I would cheat on her. She hated me for so long but she thanked me because not long after she met her now husband. I know that's probably cliche but if I had met her now, I'd never let her go. Sad huh?

So why worry about women you're not interested in ending up with men that they are interested in? This seems like a futile exercise.

This isn't 'an opposite sex' thing. This is a human thing. People do things that we don't expect. You can't put a 'woman' tag on it and think you're figuring things out. That's inane.

Here's the deal, if you were faced with two women to choose from...

A conservative girl who is nice, your parents would like, she's smart and is there to help you with anything, analyses a lot and does everything by the book...

Or a woman who is naughty as fook, spontaneous, wild, will dress up and fulfill every sexy fantasy you could imagine but she's slightly unhinged...

Point is sometimes a person needs stability and sometimes they need crazy excitement...

I consider myself a decent guy yet I can also be a "bastard". That you want to stick it in your friend with the promise of being a decent guy... but who is it to say you won't turn into a bastard!

I think all humans have ability to be bad to others on purposes or without realising it.

But remember relationship are super complex and no one should get involve in the problems of 2 people unless you wanna end of enemy with one of them for taking sides
