I really think in another 10 years it will be more acceptable than it is now ... Tinder ..pof etc making casual sex more the norm so I think swinging will follow suit and be more accepted in Ireland |

I'd personally think fetish or serious BDSM is probably more taboo, or Daddy little girl stuff, than group sex but the mention of swingers immediately leads people to think of a room filled with 50 people hard at it or the keys in the bowl and that's part of the reason it's seen a little differently to the reality.
Just my opinion. |

I think you are right...however will that remove the frisson & excitement associated with Saturday nights? |

I say
LEGALIZE IT!!!
Well it ain't prohibited anyway
But as longest public opinion is determined by some tabloids for illeterates , and hypocracy is mainstream, I am afraid that the common peeps prefer cheating to swinging, it's a more common concept for those, even tho the consequences ain't pleasant . There is a lot of social and political factors which will keep the Swinging scene in the dodgy corner
Maybe a political party should be formed to emancipate the swingers versus the vanillas |

Seconded. It's not as if a Swinging Party would do any worse than what we have now. |

Can't see why it would, I still wouldn't tell people it's part of my life as it's none of their business wat we do sexually ...so I think it would be no different only that people wouldn't be afraid to be outted as a swinger |

Sure how does that Frankie Boyle joke go? Politicians love making sexual acts illegal so they can feel extra naughty while committing them. |

Exactly...It's that little voice in the back of your head saying this is wrong...then tittitering to yourself...whilst you carry on with extra vigor... |
