Music can heal suffering and pain, great initiative to show respect and help the victims financially, I would love to see something similar for Syrian victims from these terrorists. |

Just wanted to see Noel walk out with liam...
Wishfull thinking..
Coldplay showed the world again they know how to do it..
And respect for the girl to get up and sing somewhere over the rainbow with that much emotion in the air.. |

Oh! Me too, I saw Noel walking on for the last song, giving his Bro a big hug then belting out Wonderwall...
Coldplay Were amazing, haven't really enjoyed their music of late but maybe we will meet again. |

While well intentioned, a part of me is irked by the sentiment of this.
Where are the hash tags and shows and jumping on the share the love bandwagon for the daily atrocities worldwide?
All lives are equal... Right? |

"Last night, a suicide attack on a shrine in Pakistan killed at least 88 people and injured a further 250

Careful latte or you'll be called an asshat too.

While I agree with ur sentiment flash we tend to be emphatic to those near us a constant news stream of more local attacks bring us to open out hearts to those near. While also thinking of our own self preservation London, Manchester, Paris and eourpe are on our door step there fore naturally we align with their grief
While not dismissing what is happening around the world mostly we don't hear of the daily atrocities being carried out in far off places |

The whole world is on "my doorstep" . I get what you are saying, it's a natural and understandable bias we all have. But it is a bias all the same.
It's the inverse of the same bias that causes terrorism... Protect "your own", don't care so much for "outsiders". They are heavily influenced by their media and propaganda and the group in this thread are heavily influenced by whatever TV show was on last night and the social media loops.
It takes a little conscious thought to break out of that system 1 type of thinking |
