People block for loads of reasons, things you've written in the forum, people you've met that they don't like, something on your profile they don't like, too many status updates etc etc etc. Doesn't much matter if someone you don't know and will never meet blocks you, they're missing out on your wit and charm. When it's someone you thought was a friend, that's a bit shit really. Hope it was the former and not the latter for you Tiger  |

I think it's just mean to block someone.
Some people can be nasty or unkind because they are unhappy
Let them get it out and hopefully they'll feel better

I use my private notes as opposed to blocking.
It's great especially when profiles change picks and names or loose verifications as the person has left the site but the little notes stay.
That's why I don't block unless they are nasty. |

Dont think its fair to say its mean or gettin a buzz when blocking someone.I spotted a male profile ,who lives close to us .knew him straight away so blocked him .reason....so he cant see our profile and join the dots.so now generally we block males or whoever we feel we need to near us.our privacy is more important to us so if that mean then thats what we are  |

The blocked are so NOT bothered by it, they often start threads or frequently mention how funny they find it. Repeatedly. Anyone might think they were desperately looking for the reason because they're so upset about it. |

I rarely block anyone but I'm blocked bye lots of people and I don't know why either. There was one guy kept annoying me and I kept saying in straight and please leave me alone. I did not block him cos he finally got the message . |

How do ye know if someone is in a bad place? You put yourself in the fab shop window with the intention of selling yourself (you get what i mean) so when ye go inside the shop, its not as it seems. Do you return to the same shop? or ignore it and pass it by? Chances are the latter. |

How do ye pity somebody ye dont know? I pity nobody on here as theyre all well aware why theyre here. You could see a homeless person on the street and give him a fiver for a coffee and a sandwich. Does that mean youre pitying him or her? Its showing empathy towards another person and understanding their hard times. Here on fab, its so different to show anybody any emotion or human compassion. Do you know why? Too many people have been burned in showing respect,0 that the walls go up. Ive done it myself and said no thanks. If i get an abusive mail, i block straight away,is that right? Probably not, but then i was polite to say no so that should be respected too
