Great advice...
I'm swinging 7.5 years and the advice I'd give is to be patient, don't try to be something else, just be yourself. Get to socials, meets lots (socially) and play privately. The less others know about what you're doing the better.

Keep well clear of people who talk nasty about other members. Keep clear of those that share other people's pics, videos and private messages on other messaging apps. They've done it to them and you will be no different.
Don't worry about what other people are doing. Concentrate on your own swing experiences and enjoy the fun. If it's not fun then take a break.
Someone with lot's of verifications does not make them more 'genuine' or more 'nicer' or more 'experienced' than anyone else. Everyone is equal.
Learn to embrace the words no thank you. Whether you are on the receiving end of them or say it to someone it's not offensive and don't beat yourself up about it.
No is never negotiable.
Be kind. People have enough to contend with in life and you don't know what another person could be going through.
Keep it fun |

Ladies & Gentlemen of Fab 2017, Wear Sunscreen. If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long-term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience. |
