Hi I'm new here. DP is on my bucket list and heard this is the place to be so here I am. Chatting with a lot of time wasters so far and the rest don't accept messages from newbies or people who haven't had a verified meet yet. Would I have more luck in the forums than messaging people in the browse section or should I give up? |

There is usually a long way from having a first chat to actually being invited to a DP fun.
I get the impression that once the convo doesn't result in playtime, people are called time wasters, as if they signed some contract at the start that would guarantee the other side something. |

How can you tell I'm greedy based on that short paragraph? I've met plenty of women within a week of chatting on mainstream dating sites where sex is nowhere near as explicitly on the menu as it is here. I've viewed profiles here because the lady looked attractive and she is upfront about wanting to meet guys for sexy time only to find that they don't accept messages from newbies or people who haven't verifiably met a Fab member. How do you overcome this status if the only people who do reply to messages do so with one word replies and 'LOL' and similar inanities? |

As the saying goes, aim high shoot low. DP in the right circumstances is on my bucket list but it's not the be all and end all. I've used mainstream dating sites since 2010 and have met quite a few women for one night stands, a few night stands, a few months and one or two were on/off for a year or more. My last relationship lasted three years and ended nearly three years ago. I haven't been near a woman during that time so ideally I'd like a regular fuck buddy who I can enjoy hanging out with as well as enjoy plenty of sexy times with. I haven't been near a woman in nearly three years partly because I'm profoundly bored with the whole interview stage of online dating |

It's all well and good moaning but look at it from the women's view. When I was a single female here even with most my filters on a quite day I could get over 50+ mails and that with what was described as a intimidating profile. Women get so many mails from blokes with the exact attitude you have that they are highly selective and when it comes to fulfilling fantasies you can't blame them. If you found it so easy to get laid elsewhere then maybe it might be best to go back. Women here expect a lot more than a message or two to fall into bed with someone and after moaning like this it would put even more ladies off |

I have a post graduate degree in a humanities subject which primarily specialises in humans and communication so I'm kinda like a (mediocre) engineer of rhetorical force. Also, like I said, I've used other more mainstream dating site with lots of success. And on top of that, I've been a reasonably well adjusted human for 44 years so I know at least the basics of starting conversations and establishing rapport - if I'd decided its reciprocal and therefore worth the effort. So I know how it works. I look at a profile and based on its thumbnail decide whether to look at it or not. If after looking at photos and/or reading what they have to say about themselves I decide 'oh I'd like a bit of that'I hit the send message button and quite often I'm told this person doesn't want messages from newbies. Similarly profiles I like say they don't accept messages from those who haven't been verified in some way. So I'm left wondering if there are any people here so I start messaging profiles with no pictures just to see if I get a reply. They are the type of profiles who reply but reply with one or two words at a time and lots of LOL's. |

This isn't a dating site it's a swingers site. Sex isn't on "the menu" here, you're not guaranteed to get sex within a certain time frame between signing up and sending your first mail. Have some patience

And I stop sending messages to a member if they send two or three one word replies and/or a LOL because I can recognise that that is a waste of time. I don't insult them or express my annoyance ... I just stop sending messages to them

OP. your best bet on here to meet people is to engage people and get them used to you. The forums on here is always a good start.
It's true for every message you send a woman you can expect another 50 to message them aswell
As for being verified the M&Gs are essential especially as a single guys and posting here on the forums will certainly help getting you an invite
My advice is if you really want to be part of this community then engage and enjoy the community
