Any views on the squad announced today?

The Scots must be feeling rightly pissed off only 2 players picked compared to 12 Welsh!!

Pretty much what was expected.

Gatland was always going to include plenty of Welsh lads .

And it's probably had to argue against most .

Suprised no launchbury,

And suprised about payne, not suprised he's in think he definitely deserved to be but suprised gatland pick him ..

T'eo bit of a surprise too .

Always like him with leinster but similar to henshaw, thought ringrose would offer something a bit different and unlucky not to get a chance .

Gatland trusts the Welsh boys and to be fair to them on the last Lions tour they were top notch, especially Halfpenny.

Surprised Scotland had 2 it's a bit of a token gesture. Hogg is the only real contender for the test team.

Payne just going because of versatility he'll be a good player for the midweek side. If Henderson can get back to the form of the World Cup last year he could be one of the star players there's some competition in most positions.

Payne is severely underrated by a lot of people, Gatland would have coached him when they were both at Waikato so they would know each other.

Not a vast amount of flare in the team its a very physical looking squad.

Crash bash Gatball me thinks!!

I thought this was a thread looking for volunteers to go with the squad and help with any rub downs the players would need. I am severely disappointed. Sad times

Never knew how gatland got the gig has not done anything new with wales for years they have underperformed!

Kyle sinkler was surprise for me dont normally take inexperinced front row players.

Happy o' mahony got in and hartley got overlooked!

Macroom

Would have taken Donnacha Ryan as he has been playing very well for both Munster and Ireland. The squad hes chosen has a few too many welsh in it, but that was to be expected. Not a fan of Gatland.
