"like to hear women's views on this. on a night out what would you say if a guy went up to the bar, started chatting to you and offered to buy you a drink? what's the general mindset. "

If we were getting on and I fancied him I'd let him buy the drink and Id buy the next round. I hate girls who let men buy them drinks all night but never offer to buy one back |

I dont understand that? How else do people start chatting " i have come across women in bars who hate guys trying to chat to them and ignorantly brush them off. I'd say some girls just want a girls night out with no lads involved |

When we (my friend and I) are out we enjoy guys chatting/flirting with us. Doesn't matter if they buy us a drink or not, we are out for a giggle.
Take the risk, say hi.. if they've a snotty head on them leave them to it. I've seen uppity women like this, I just don't get it. Smile, chat.. have a giggle. Life's too short to be snotty like that. |

Well if I'm going out with my friends, that I usually don't get much time and opportunity to hang out with, we want to have a few drinks and chat about our things. If we are going to accept every drink a guy offers us, we won't be talking much to each other, often I decline drinks and my friends too, of course in a educated and polite way.
Not all the time, but depending on the circumstances. |
