I'm not great fan on Gin...herby taste put me off.

Was a gin drinker for good few years. That and slim line tonic with cucumber is bliss. Now there are hundreds of different gins. But my fav was the green bottle called tanquera it's little more expensive than the likes of Gordon's or blue sapphire. Little fact gin is made from the junaper berry.  |

So many to choose from these days. Three of my faves would be Hendricks, Brockmans and Drumshanbo Gunpowder gin. All slightly different in tastes but equally as delicious  |

I don't like gin at all. 
My bestie has taken up drinking it and demands Hendricks which comes served in a huge goldfish bowl of a glass complete with flower petals, goldfish, cucumbers or some other hipster shite that she wants me to cough up a tenner for. Let's go for a beer she said, it'll be fun she said as my wallet cried robbery at 2am.  |

Patron it's a very good tequila and you can find it in O'briens , pricey tho "

I've been drinking gin since Adam was a boy, before it became 'fashionable'
My current favourites are Tanqueray 10 and Dingle Gin. 
On a side note, I'm buying no one lunch on Saturday. |

There's a new gin bar opened in Galway which I was supposed to go review last week, but got lost on my pub crawl

It's ok if there's nothing else to drink. I find the flavour a bit odd. I have a bottle of Drumshanbo Gunpowder gin all the way from lovely Leitrim that I was given a while back but haven't tasted it yet.
Nice to see Drumshanbo spelt correctly but whoever mentioned it up above as well. |

I tried Cork Dry once and swore off gin for life, but recently had my eyes opened and am fully converted! Hendricks, cucumber shavings, dash of pepper on the ice (yes pepper!) and Fever Tree tonic |
