Just got body shamed for want of a better word. Messaged by a guy which I was nt really into messaging back. Seemed to busy for me but he was persistent. Any way asked me my dress size then said I was a little to big for him. I am 16 to 18. Fair enough. But then in another message he offered to give me gym tips. Please state on your profiles what kind of person you would like to meet. I feel a little humiliated but that's life for you.  |

Ignore block move on. Seriously there are tons of people here who will cut you down for the slightest reason given the opportunity. It's a reflection of them really and I'd advise you not to let it bother you. |

It's not nice and as above poster said it is a reflection on the other person. Move on...least you weren't into them and secondly there's loads more guys to choose from. It happens alot to us guys too. |

No . I never expressed a desire to change my lifemail. In facthe said to him had no time or motivation to go to a gym. Reason I like this site is thar there is a such a diversity of people here. Plenty of different types to choose. I don't really care about him anymore. I am the one who has to organise my inbox because of all the messages I get  |

There's lots of men and women that'll do that here, I think it has something to do with everyone being so upfront but it is a little thoughtless. The reason I decided to share was this is going on all the time on this site. It's a site for people to meet and have some adult fun. We are all different types. I told him twice I didn't want to talk to him that but he said we ll see. Fair enough. He knew I didn't do the gym. He told me that I was a little on the big side for him. Big deal but to come back and offer gym tips was a bit too much. It made me feel that fab is only for the beautiful people , but you know what we are all beautiful.I try and be nice to people.

Nobody is really born fat or overweight. It's done by poor diet and not enough excercise. There's a tiny percentage of overweight people who fall into a medical reason bracket, 2%. Everyone else Is the first. We should let people have pride in that? well done. Same as junkie, not my business don't shame them lol. Let's support obesity all together now let's all pay for monility scooters when your too old to move cause of your kebab cushioning. |

Also maybe the guy was trying to help you and that humiliation is your own internal thing. Because perhaps maybe you're not happy with your weight and you wanna make a change for you. Depends on the angle. I'd change the angle to a positive one. Beautiful doesn't mean skinny fit person. Plenty of overweight people are beautiful people. They just have bad diets and not enough Excercise. For you, I hope you take the tips and start a new chapter in your health. |

Fab is a rich mix of likes and dislikes , there literally is someone for everyone. Anyone who has been here for awhile has experienced some sort of negativity, it comes with the territory and will never change. It's not a place for the thin skinned or easily offended. The best weapon you have against the negative comments is your block button. If everyone that received a negative comment decided to start a thread about it, can you imagine what the boards would read like ! . If I'm honest, threads of this nature serve no penalty on the perpetrator,it only serves to show that he succeed in causing you distress. |

While being overweight/obesity is a struggle for many especially older people and so an increasing problem in many first world nation, in Ireland in particular as we're leading in Europe, this isn't the site to tell, teach and patronise overweight people. We're all here for fun and not to be lectured and body shamed. |

"Just got body shamed for want of a better word. Messaged by a guy which I was nt really into messaging back. Seemed to busy for me but he was persistent. Any way asked me my dress size then said I was a little to big for him. I am 16 to 18. Fair enough. But then in another message he offered to give me gym tips. Please state on your profiles what kind of person you would like to meet. I feel a little humiliated but that's life for you. "

Can we acknowledge that people have different preferences when it comes to body type and character?
We all live our lives differently; therefore some are bigger, some are skinner. Nobody is perfect, so who are we to judge?

Sum people on this site can be so rude and no wonder most ladies either leave the site or block single males . I have met this beautiful lady and she is down to earth. The last three lines of your profile for starters. You stated that you were open minded and had respect for boundaries. If you're being honest as you say, fair enough. I'll accept your statement. But it doesn't necessarily mean I agree with it.
