Never been a big fan of ladies boxing, I am a big Katie Taylor fan though. She's talented enough to change a lot of people's opinions I think, fantastic boxer. |

I'm a big fan of Katie she's a great person away from the boxing which I admire. She's without a doubt a great fighter. But woman's boxing isn't much of a spectacle look at the turn over of fights she's had so far not much of competition and it's rarely a genuine big hitting brawl. I'm sure the boxing pros here would disagree but it's not that entertaining. It doesn't set off the barbaric Responders.

"Hopefully she gets everything she deserves .. World Champion in the making
"
------------------------------------------Pound for pound the best fighter in the world and future World Champion but I don't think she'll ever get the credibility she deserves because she doesn't mouth off like boxers with far less talent than her... |

"I honestly think she will... the ex pros on sky couldn't speak more highly about her and shes only 4 fights in"
----------------------------------------
Hope you're right but truth is the Irish media did her no favours whatsoever. When she was winning World Titles as an amateur pre and post 2012 Olympics yet got an inch of column space on the back page and feck all coverage on RTE. When she lost, it was shock headline news on page 1 of the papers here.
Hopefully Sky Sports and Eddie Hearn will change all that... |

Amazing woman, I took part in a white collar and it was both exhilarating and petrifying , getting hit in the face was scary as hell so any person that gets into the ring is inspirational in my eyes |

Fairplay to you, gotta respect anyone's bravery for getting in a boxing ring. Myself, think I'll stick to playful wrestling in the bedroom for the mo though
...Hey, look it's a start |

Find it hard too watch women box and I realise that is completely double standards especially as I boxed myself and won 2 Ulster novice medals and having a boxing family with bro winning 3 all Ireland senior championships ..
That's just my opinion personally I can't see anyone even challenging her as a pro ..
So good luck too her ..
Someone in comments said she is P4P best in world lol .. Above GGG and Ward and Micky Garcia that's crazy lol |

Her sexual preference shouldnt even be considered when acknowledging her talents.

Well then to answer ops question I have no time for boxing, amatuer boxing and especially women's boxing
I wouldn't let my son start boxing when he wanted to,lots of other sports to pick from that doesn't involve brain damage

The aim of rugby is not to hit your opponents on the head. Head hits can happen like in other contact sports but it's not the aim of the sport
Your main aim in boxing is to hit your opponents head
With what we know now about brain damage it's a crazy sport
I discouraged him from rugby but I am an overprotective parent to put it mildly |
