Who needs a gym when you get to be outside working. I spent two chopping up an old tree this morning and while most will think that's stone age stuff I guarantee I get more satisfaction than those running on a treadmill looking at a wall

I grew up between two farms and enjoyed the farm work when I was little.

Not so much now. Wellies just don't fit my fat calf

Would you not just a chainsaw? Rather than an age.? There's a reason why things evolve

I used the chainsaw to break down the tree into pieces then the axe to chop it into small chunks for firewood

While I agree with the principle of outdoor work exercise, I've so many things that need to be done up on my hill, it'll do me for the next couple if years to come, not looking for more.

Chopped up one of the trees Doris brought down but still have another one to go. besides all the gardening
