"So guys do you get much response from winking or do you prefer a message "
In all honesty I don't think there should be a wink option it doesn't seem to be looked at by anyone ... but that's just my own experience I dare say things are a lot different on her for couples and ladies than single fellas lol |

It's a good way of showing interest without the hassle of sending mail as the pretty ladies seem to get nails by the 100's.
If the interest is mutual then wink back. If not then discard. |

From couples and ladies I'd prefer a message, a simple message it's fine, I don't ask for funny or too elaborate messages... Simplicity and good manners will do the job. |

"Wink followed by nice short straight to point message will do it "
Exactly a wink leads you to looking at their profile
If they have some substance in their profile and they mail a nice message ,doesn't have to be an essay .

Used to get excited by the auld wink..and then disappointed when I realise it's just another bloke. Then when I send email I never get even a view never mind a message so now I just don't bother with em. Seems pretty pointless, |

"I never check out any winks I receive, I just bulk delete them every so often.
Ah heeeeere!
All those winks I sent you... Gone! Tragic! "
It's was quick and painless they didn't suffer! But to compensate have one from me |

I like to send winks, it's not laziness on my part, it's more a hello to a couple and it gives them the chance to have a quick look at my profile and decide if they are interested. Saves them having to read through mails when they are not interested. |

Prefer a message I've been wink at and I've sent a message but never get a response back. So what's the point in a wink if your not interested? |

I think a wink to guys here is an ice-breaker and a open chance to flirt
...but to many single women who get loads of daily winks, it probably means "he's nothing to say"
..either that or he's got something stuck in his eye |

99% of the time we ignore them. Just as easy send a message.
It also shows they haven't read our profile. |
