Yes we always provide wipes and anti bacterial gel when toys being shared and passed around ...As for oral swapping in groups it's up to each individual to decide on using mouth wash before moving person to person |

I'm sure I'll get some abuse with this statement, but I will openly admit I've always thought that those who play bareback might actually have a much higher precaution procedure than many who don't. I think it's wrongly assumed that they are less careful....some maybe but I'd say in most cases they are very very selective with who they play with and are probably at less risk. |

No there doesn't seem to be any medical evidence to support that. It apparently was started in the hope of giving some peace of mind amongst swing group members that had raised these concerns. I'm open to be shown otherwise.
A real concern though is how many swingers/players have never thought of having the Hep B vaccination or asked if those they play with have. There are many that I've talked to on here that admit to not having it, many cite that isn't that just for travelling in 3rd world countries with poor drinking water? The relatively common STI can be carried in the mouth and throat and passed on through oral sex. Scientists found Listerine could kill gonorrhoea- associated bacteria in the mouth and throat but not the gonorrhoea STI virus. It may be killing some of the bacteria but not treating the infection.

This is something I didn't know until recently when I had my last checkup. The doctor advised me to have the vaccination as she said that particular infection can actually be passed on by kissing an infected person. For the small amount of hassle involved, it's well worth having it. And yes, my tests were all clear. Next check up in April. |
