Look at revenue.ie
Revenue Guide to Importing Goods through the Post.
All the information you need will be there. Even if you dont need to pay duty at customs, allow for hidden charges like insurance and freight/ carrier handling. |

"Been looking at buying lingerie on line from an american website! Anyone here ordered stuff from foreign websites?? Are there extra charges at customs??"
Depends what you want to buy. Did you try LoveHoney or one of the UK sites. Customs may get you if you've bought loads of stuff online from outside of Ireland. All parcels in, no matter what company, have the addresses entered onto the customs database. When they reckon you've reached your quota of items that are over excise, they tax it. I shit you not. |

Try using the site gosend it's especially for sites non European to stop custom taxes. I purchased stuff through a American website without realising the possibility of being charged. Thankfully I was not charged any customs, but in future will go through gosend |
