"what colour tie wud u wear with a bluey/navy coloured suit plus colour shirt?"
Don't go over board with coloured shirts, ties, pocket squares and tie bars, etc. It should always be about the suit,
Blue suit: White shirt, matching belt and shoes (black or brown)
Tie: I'd go black, if shoes and belt were black, red if I'd decided on tan or brown shoes.
Classic and simple yet classy .
You are not trying to reinvent the wheel. |

Kildare outlet village is a good spot , Cork City OP street and surrounding has good spots as well, depending on your budget
Concerning tie colors , someone already mentioned yellow and red, which is pretty mainstream. The combi with darker colors is cool too, though it may makes the impression of an undertaker this days.
Under no circumstance should the shoe color be anything but black . Brown shoes on a blue or dark suit is for eccentric Dutch men only ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

Picked up a really nicely cut and hanging suit by the off chance in TKM 2 years ago. I'd never more than glanced at it if it wasn't at TKM... Was a bargain at 2/3 the original price but still not cheap but a bargain. I'm not a suit type of guy but I felt comfortable in it from the moment I tried it. Worth a look in a big TKM store but it's hit or miss in there. |

You will get a good suit in Louis Copeland for 500, they do all alterations for free, if u need the jacket waisted, sleeves taken up etc. Also if the waist needs to be altered in 6 months time they will do that for free too. Hope that helps. |
