A lot of deals on go direct Web sites are often not the cheapest..many of those promoted as good deals are paying to get up the list either directly or via commission to the Web sites.
If you go directly to an insurer they don't reduce the price they just keep the commission as extra profit
Most package deals are often more expensive than arranging house car and mortgage insurance seperately.
If you understand both contract and insurance law you can do it yourself...
If you don't go and ask 2 or 3 brokers to get you the best deal. Then decide who you trust which is the best price and sign up.
You don't have to use the same broker for all the different policies so shop around.
And if you do use a broker and they cock it up you can sue them... they have to have professional indemnity insurance in order to trade.
And if you have no funds to pay lawyers to sue on your behalf... you can buy legal expenses insurance to cover those costs. Some policies even include it as an optional extra.
No this is not an advert and I am not employed by a broker!
