Fab Yoda, haha, somehow, the setting here reminded me of Yoda's deathbed confession (lying by omission) to Luke about Luke's family...

Well...im scarlet.com.

I dont know why people cant keep these appreciation thingys between themselves. Its cringey to be honest. Lads post appreciation threads to various women and are slated for it. Theyve been called desperate and attention seeking.Because youre a female does it make it any different? .

Sorry doll...just my opinion.

I think it a bit harsh on OP saying this thread is desperate or attention seeking. Yes, some appreciation threads are as they are defending or appreciating someone from afar that they haven't engaged with. I see this thread differently in that it acknowledging a fab friend who has obviously been there for OP in a supporting and keeping sane way. So what if it cringey, personally I don't shout out in public this type of appreciation but I see no harm in it, and I think it cool to have that kind of friend on fab.So OP, glad to hear you stayed and good luck

If anything it is a bit refreshing, a lady showing her appreciation for a guy. It doesn't come across as point scoring, more so of a thank you...

I didnt say Op was desperate or attention seeking. I said lads have been slated for posting the same threads where theyve been been told to man up,called desperate and been told they were attention seeking. I dont see why a public announcement on a forum was warranted. Theres a lot of us here that have had doubts about staying and through friends, have been encouraged to stay. Ive no personal issue with the Manbeast or the lady that posted the thread. Im just giving my view. Anyway, sometimes being a good friend and a great friend means saying nothing at all.

See in my opinion the threads from lads are usually in relation to ladies they are trying to impress, therefore coming across as desparate. I don't think OP post is similar at all.And i do think your comparison suggested this lady is similar, just how I interpreted it rightly or wrongly. I don't disagree with you that the post is cringey and not warranted and maybe we wouldn't post this type of thread but that's okay because it a forum and we all use it differently. Don't personally see any harm in OPs post.just my opinion

A bit of humour is always a welcome thing, just like a circus without a clown or a court without a jester...

So come on boys and girls, stop quibbling, let's not scare 'm away, everyone needs a good laugh now and then.

Provision of is humour secured, thanks to 'king jester', so let the real work be done by people that take themselves serious (actual swingers)...

Agreed there, not a fan of appreciation post in general, just don't get the angle, cries for attention. Cringe fest.

Come to think of it, people getting titles adorned to them, or people adorning titles upon others, thats just asking for someone else to take the piss out..

The digs are equally as cringey as the nice original post , if the OP wants to thank a friend for something she's perfectly entitled to it, publicly or otherwise. People take this forum way too seriously some times, lighten up people it's Friday

You've basically said someone on this thread isn't a real swinger and if they cant stand the heat.. essentially suggesting they leave. I don't really think it's any of your business how anyone else uses this site. Concentrate on your own meets. But i must say you've almost nailed the whole passive aggressive thing so congrats on that

Well here's what I think not that it's worth much but I think if there were more people like king Kaizer on the forums they would be a lot more fun, the man has a sense of humour and god knows this place could do with a lot more of it.

Who's not an actual swinger?

Funny, I was thinking the same and scratching my head. Obviously a pointed comment directed at someone

Bizarre post to say the least indeed.,,

Agreed there, not a fan of appreciation post in general, just don't get the angle, cries for attention. Cringe fest.

Come to think of it, people getting titles adorned to them, or people adorning titles upon others, thats just asking for someone else to take the piss out..

And if they can't stand a bit of heat...

Your comments are obviously directed at someone on this thread. Would you not be better off just either mailing them to discuss it or just ignoring them?

I'm glad you wholeheartedly agree with my sentiments about public outpourings of love (or hate) of personas on the public forum, thank you

That's your interpretation, and you're entitled to it. I would point out that, if said person really feels like you think they do, they might want to voice that concern themselves, no?

Though I guess there are of coursepeople that prefer having others doing their bidding, it basking in glory and fame.

I'm the type of person that prefers to fight my fights myself, but hey..."

I have no idea who you are talking about but what you're doing is singling one person out and attempting to convince them to leave fab. If someone has annoyed you i'm sure they'll speak to you at some point unless your little digs will actually make them leave.

What they do is not your business. And that's my interpretation of what you've said. So whatever has annoyed you let it go.

You look petty.

I'm more the straightforward type of person that prefers to fight my fights myself, but hey...

Time to build a bridge kids. Ladies, go flick the bean and try and release some of that anger. Gents, sit on your hands till you've got pins and needles and think in your mind it's a ladies hand and release your anger.

Lost art comprehensive reading point in case.

I look pretty? Funny, you're honestly the first to say that to me in that way, so thanks, I guess things are looking up for me now.

Perhaps I should start adorning myself a title

Oh wait....

Reality is the OP acted with the kindest of intentions but she cannot prevent the inevitable.

On that note the Manbeast bows out

For the people who say they don't like these type of threads, leave the thread alone , it isn't compulsory to read it.

Such a shame. He's such a nice guy. Hopefully he'll be back at some stage.

As the man has now left it might be better closing this. Can we have a bit more respect for how people want to use the forum. If it isn't what you want to read AVOID the thread rather than spoil it on purpose. The forum is for everyone and not just what you like to read.
