I've always looked at scars as a badge of honor. You've gone through a tough time and healed. How do women feel about them. Post-operative scars specifically but scars in general too...

They don't bother me at all. Some things are beyond our control, so why worry about them?

Mine add a rouged charm and character, to what would other wise be your run of the mill face. I got my first when I was 4 (over my left eyebrow) that will teach not to chew the hands of my older brothers Boba Fett

I've got loads of my stomach from various ops and a huge one on my arse from when I was a kid. I'm very self conscious about the ones on my stomach. Seeing them on other people tho wouldn't bother me in the slightest. I doubt I'd even notice tbh

Ive no issue with them at all. Theyre part of your history and tell a story of where youve been. They shouldnt dictate where you are going.

Unless you've lived a very sheltered life, everyone has scars to some degree. I think most have an issue with their own but never really notice anyone else's. It's all a confidence thing

No problem with them at all probably wouldn't even notice them but as another poster said we tend to only notice our own

Me too a bit.

I'm not worried about the scar itself but I had 4 sections and it sort of fucked my tummy. As did the beer

I have four. One on leg where a 6in nail went thru and nearly came out other side missing a vein when i was kid. Another on my thumb when i was in the bloodbath of a slaughter house and the knife got stuck in my chainmain glove. Have one on my hip from a bone graft to my collar bone when i broke it from practicing motocross and i think i have one on my head from where a piece of brick struck me. All scars tell a story of your life. They are part you and make you who you are. They shaped your life in some way or another. They speak to other people in regards that people may relate to them. Be proud of them and show them off. Besides why should you care what people think because you cant control that and another thing is that you dont know what they may be hiding aswell. Be brave be open but mostbof all be epic and proud.

I really don't mind them and usually don't ask about them. I'm open to listen if they feel comfortable to talk about it, some can carry a very sad past so I prefer to wait if they say something about it.
