A diehard Liverpool fan here but I think United will win today
We've gone a bit stale and United are in good form. Should be a good game though. Hopefully no horrible chants from either sets of fans. |

dipped cost Henderson got injured. He makes them tick in centre mid. Coutinho back is huge. Such a difference against Soton when he came on. United are still shit. |

On recent form you'd have to say United will win. Liverpool have lost their momentum and United are clawing results every week.
My heart says, or at least hopes, Liverpool, but my head unfortunately says United and I think it will be comfortable for them too. Liverpool have a poor record at Old Trafford as it is.
United 2 - 1 Liverpool I think.
Either way I'm going out for a few pints for the match and have taken tomorrow off work so hopefully I'll be out celebrating late into the night
Come on the Pool!!! |

"Liverpool fan here. Dreading today's game. "
Why? Coutinho will weave magic around the clumsy disunited midfield then paint the ball into the back of their onion bag...Belo gol Philippe |

can't believe the negativity from the Liverpool fans. if this game was a month ago everyone would be sayin Liverpool to win.Coutinho makes the team tick and we've done well to be where we are in his absence. |

Kaizer is dreading this match
Mourinho will set his side up not to lose, scoring at OT will be very difficult today.
Hendo should be back he's been a huge loss and Coutinho should start the game so this well help.
Head says 1-0 to Manure heart reckons 1-1
Here's Kaizer's bets for today
Both matches Everton/City & Manure/Pool to draw 10/1
Bobby Firmino score first 1-1 draw 35/1
And BTW Wayne Rooney will score today
Come on reds |

If the game was a month ago I'd be fairly confident. United were a shambles just over a month ago. Now they've won 6 in a row and are scraping over the line in some games like they used to do. They have the momentum where as Liverpool have done the opposite. They are a shambles over the last month.
There's no way Liverpool are keeping a clean sheet today and I favour United to score at least twice so it's likely Liverpool will have to score at least 3 to win which I cannot see that happening. We all know how Mourinho will set up his team today. |

God all you true reds u need to buck urself up. And the manbeast ....tut tut. The reality is win loose or draw we will still be above the mancs in the table tonight with practically all our tough games over with. Yes we have had a bad mini run and the mancs are on a good run but as the mancs noisy Neighbours and the boring blues found out after a high there's a fall. Regardless Of The result we will be scoring tonight |

Don't confuse realism with negativity the fact is United are in form and at home as well having a manager that generally does not lose big matches. He will set his team up to stifle Liverpool, to nullify their attacking game and try to score on the counter attack or set pieces, which Liverpool are poor at defensively.
Now we can have a mature football motivated debate or be children and shout "my team is better than yours" and insults all day long. But that won't change the reality that this will be and always has been a very very difficult away fixture for the Reds.
YNWA
1-1 Bobby Firmino first goal & Rooney to score any time.
Ye are welcome |

Don't tut the Manbeast for having an honest opinion based on his extensive football knowledge
Manure are at home and in form. Now nothing would please yours truly more than a glut of goals from the Reds. But.....Mourinho is a defensive coach first and foremost therefore he will have his homework done!
Lest you forget October's match in Anfield, Liverpool in form at home yet a supposedly poor United team calm and got a 0-0.
Here's hoping for a Pool win but realistically a draw is the most likely outcome. |

Mr69: Victimpool? Never heard that one before, what does it mean?
It's known as the NW derby (by united people) technically it's not a real derby but back when United couldn't win anything it made them feel as though they had a part in the league so their people embraced it. Liverpool fans don't see it as a derby. |

Games between two rivals of close geographical proximity are usually called a local derby, or simply just derby ( UK: /'d??rbi/; DAR-bee or. US: /'d??rbi/; DER-bee); a sporting fixture between two teams from the same town, city or region, particularly in association football.
NB bitterpool fans do indeed see it as a derby just because you say they don't does not make it as rafa would say a FACKTT!!! |

A number of years ago Wenger cited all the derbies Arsenal had to play being based in London.
Fergie retaliated listing all the the clubs in North West: City, Pool, Leeds, Wigan & Everton etc.
Check your facts and don't ever take Rafa's name in vain again

Good example, what's the difference between the Tyne Wear derby & the South Coast derby vs your Liverpool man u game?
Distance makes it not a derby. Local rivalry yes, derby no. |

Lfc supporter and scouser here. I was enjoying the banter and match predictions, however I do take offence at the derogatory term 'vicimpool' it is a reference to the Hillsborough tragedy and you should be ashamed. To all the other true football fans it doesn't matter where you live, support who you want and wear their colours with pride. |

Of course the coward didn't have the balls to explain itself, even after being asked so don't expect it to have any shame either. Just block & ignore. |

He is just an armchair fan, probably never stood on the terraces or held a season ticket, but should have been more of an adult and gave an apology/explained his vile remark, every decent fan lost that day with the police and media cover up,I also enjoy the banter with football fans ,but that was a step too far. |
