"Yeah each to their own I guess, I just find it an interesting topic since I don't think men have ever been more under pressure to look good physically."
Women have always been under pressure to look a 'certain' way so welcome to the world of scrutiny and discrimination!
I do agree mens fitness has gotten more popular lately, especially in ireland. But regardless of trends People just need to be happy in themselves and in their own skin. 99% of it is media hype that's best ignored.
Do what you want and be confident in yourself. The rest will follow. |

I hope fitness is not a trend...
This country is becoming more obese by the year and affecting kids is a serious matter!
But yes it does help having a "gym body" if that means being strong fit and healthy

I'm about as far away from a gym body you can get on this site, but you would not believe how much fun I have had on here over the last 5 years of my 1st membership here (over 60 veri's and not one from a social night)
Be confident, be respectful, be funny as fook, treat people like people and you'll be fine...

It's not all about the size or the type of body you have. Personally, I believe it's all about the mind set, and the attitude that you have. If you have the confidence to go with it then you're winning. Sell yourself in other ways than just your physical appearance. Love me a girl with some good mind set, she can fuck me intellectually all night |

Well thats not generalising atall is it ?
So im vain because i train and im attracted to fit athletic people?
So by that logic the only way to shred myself of this cursed affliction called vanity is for me to gain weight and have sex with people im not attracted to ? |

Nonsense. All women have ever been asked to do is not be fat and most of them still moan about that...men have to go far beyond that to get similar levels of appreciation |

I was wondering the same thing, I'm not woefully out of shape, but do women look at a guys body and think "I bet he can go for hours in the bedroom" or "I'd be lucky to get twenty minutes with him"?
I wouldn't be showing off my body as an asset but sometimes I feel like I'd be better off with a few body pics up so at least it's a 'devil you know' for women who do look at my profile...
I've been on fab a while now and I'm not a terrible looking chap but I rarely if ever get replies to messages. I have a feeling that being ripped would get me more replies. I think that's what OP might be getting at...correct me if I'm wrong!

Let me tell you that body fitness and sexual stamina are not necessarily connected. You can be a great marathon runner but you might just last 5 to 10minutes in the bedroom. However like you can train your body for a particular sport you can do the same for sex. Unfortunately not that many bother but also there are no physical signs to recognise great sexual stamina.

The mere mention of gym seems to end up a divisive discussion with people stereotyping the gym or non gym body.
Some people like to workout, some don't, some can't. Why judge either?
I would say OP that I workout for myself, to make me feel good in my clothes and indeed out of my clothes, to be stronger etc. It makes me content first and foremost.
I do enjoy meeting people of similar mindset and have something in common to chat about between sex. But it not the deal breaker
Be content in yourself is my advice, don't judge others because of how they look... And there nothing wrong with having body preferences for your meets
Live and let live

It takes a serious amount of self control and hard work to develop a 'guy body ' !
Are you willing to go to these lengths just to increase your chances of getting a meeting on here ? Fair enough if you're doing it for your own personal benefit as in being fitter and healthier ! |

There is a physical component through, when I'm training hard I can go alot longer without getting tired, hold certain positions longer etc
But nothing to do with dick stamina agreed |

Being fit and healthy is a distinct advantage in life never mind on here..."gym fit" comes in many variations on here, as long as you're feeling healthier fitter and more confident that's what it's all about in my opinion but as it goes each to their own |

Whatever body type you have... if you no happy then change but only change for you!
This idea that changing for women or to get social media/ other strangers on a strangers validation about how you look is crazy!
Do what you want for you and no one else don't get sucked into thinking what do they like and I'll change
Women want a man with their own ideas and be secure in their own skin... So own it whatever you rocking |
