what a difference a year makes...

It's been a year since I tumbled through the doors of fab and boy what a rollercoaster ride it has been! I have had some amazing adventures and met some wonderful people, some whacky, some weird but I am grateful for each and every interaction...There is something to be learned in every situation.
I have come and gone a few times...From Frisky Whiskey, Madame B to Madame Risqué Ensemble....What a fantastic and sometimes surprising transition it has been.
I know it is a fickle internet world but I have made some brilliant and decent friendships too which have surprised me, delighted me and enhanced my experience of fab. This place has opened my mind, my outlook and my heart. For all the negative things that are constantly highlighted here, I just wanted to say tis a fab life and thank you to all the amazing people that make fab what it is.

As usual great post Madame B. It great to see a positive post like this. Sometimes the forum highlights the negatives of fab not the positives. Having to got to know you a little on here I can only express my respect for you and your journey. We originally joined a few months after you and you were one of the people I related to most on the forum. We didn't always agree but any points you made I always gave weight to. Seeing you transition from frisky to a glamorous couple has been very interesting.
Fab has been good to us as a couple and me as an individual. I have avoided the forums because of the negativity recently but any thread I see you post on i tend to read. Anyway hopefully 2017 will be an especially good year for you and us all |

only been here a few months, met someone fairly soon after joining and thought it was great, but since that i have sorta given up on trying to meet anyone else as mostly i get no replies and have only had about 2/3 conversations. that said, i think it does look like the way to get really 'into' fab and its community is to immerse yourself, as if you read my profile you'll see there's no chance of me doing that. but on the whole i reckon swingers aren't a bad old bunch, naturally suspicious but a healthy attitude to life and relationships. |

The best way to get into the community is to go to socials and events.
And as a married man who had to convince my wife to join (like years of conversations and baby steps) you should try to bring her with you on this journey. Hard conversations with a lot of potential pain but the conversation is worth having. Talk to her. You don't know how she feels about it until you actually have that talk |

Madame B, I've always enjoyed your no nonsense posts and your wonderful sense of humour. Miss K, I'm less familiar with your posts, but together you make a beautiful couple with truly classy beautiful photos. I hope you both have an amazing year ahead, and I would love to be able at some point to put faces to names. |

Same I'm a yr here. It was a male friend that recommended it to me. He gave me his account name and password he said "u will love it ure a dirty bitch".I looked and was shocked tbh.Then a few days later I created an account.Never looked back throughly enjoy the sexual side as well as the social side to it.I've carried some fantasies I never thought I wud ever do and I've become more confident. OMG!! Madame B ,We just noticed we never put the name of the beautiful Butterflys we were talking about in the last post. The Amber phantom butterfly is crepuscular ,it is one of the most beautiful and a very rare butterfly is what we were referencing ...Were so embarrassed |

It certainly has been a fantastic year fab wise. From going to my first swinging club at the beginning of the year with a special friend who has pushed my boundaries all year to the end going to cork club by myself.
Having survived a year with my loonie friends and meeting new friends including yourselves Op's I hope 2017 can match it |
