Hey all,
As many of you know, I'm living in Rotterdam and a number of you have recommended fun 4 two as a great club here. Saturdays are "for attractive couples from 20-40 years". Of those of you who know, how accurate is this, would I, a 47 year old with plenty of energy, be out of place there??? All practical advice welcome.
Also, are there any decent sites here along the lines of fab???
Thanks.

"Will they let you in if you're over 40? How do they know?"
The first time you attend you have to bring either a passport or drivers license which will have your DOB. They take a scan of it and issue you a temporary entry card, if you wish to attend a second time you have to become a member (which is free and gets you cheaper entry).
Whilst sat nights are predominantly 20-40, there are people there older than that and wouldn't think anyone reasonably comfortable in themselves would feel out of place, nor do we think they strictly enforce the 20-40 rule.
We would advise if it's your first time attending, it's worth sending the club a mail first, letting them know you're attending and when. Ask if there are any rules you need to be aware of, other than those on the website (certain event nights have specific rules). They will reply (might take a cpl of days), print off the mail and bring it with you to the door.
It's a very friendly and welcoming club, but they do enforce certain rules rigorously (e.g. No single men allowed at all, no men allowed in the play areas without their partners, etc). It's also very frowned upon (by the other guests) when a man and women go together but they're obviously not an actual couple, so if you're FWB, keep that to yourselves
We've seen people being evicted for the above and other reasons.
If you go Jim, don't let the above put you off and hope you and your buddy have a great night! |
