Try gluten free food for a while does wonders for the body.
Barley in water flushes out the system not like a laxative though.
Replace white bread with sour dough bread.
Increase your fluid intake ( )
Green jasmine tea.
Fruits and veggies every single day.
It's 80% what you eat and rest is exercise.

Going to extreme diets is never a good idea. You are basically starving your body of the nutritional food it needs.
Cutting out sugar though is never a bad idea. The amount of sugar in white bread is scary. When you eat high sugar foods your body has to work twice as much, if you don't burn it off it turns straight to fat. Certain fruits like banana also are high in sugar levels.
Light cardio and weights is an easy way to keep fit. 20 min cardio and 30 min weights. 3 times a week. That's all you need. |

Get more super foods into your diet
Avocado, beetroot, garlic, blueberries (and other darkberries ), nuts and seeds etc.
Watch portion sizes. I am going to make mine smaller, especially for dinner |

Oh sounds nice.
I use the cooked beetroot from Aldi along with blueberries, ripe banana, full fat natural yogurt and some water and maybe some peanut butter. |

Get rid of refined and processed sugar out out of your diet. You don't need it to survive, your body just craves it. Eat healthy, know where your food comes from and whats in it. Drink a minimum of 2L of water a day. Exercise. |

It's all about balancing the food intake & exercise. I had lost a lot of weight over the past few years but over the past few months I've slowly gained a stone back. So now it's time to start fresh again. I've not been exercising & not been tracking my food intake so I know where to start. My motivation isn't great though so I need a kick in the ass. Carmel xx |

I general making big changes to your diet won't last as it's often to much hassle so it's as much about making things as easy as possible to cook good foods. Last Xmas Mrs bought me a nutritibullet, it sits on the counter permanently so we use it a lot. You can by frozen spinach fruits kale etc in Aldi for peanuts. The combinations are endless and if you are in training just through in some peanut butter oats and protein power for a good hour or twos slow release energy.
Another recent buy was an airfryer....Wait don't go mad. It's bloody amazing for cooking salmon or chicken breasts in half the time an oven would and don't get squashed like they would in a George Foreman. As a treat it's great for sweat potato sprayed with a flavoured oil of your choice.
Last night we fancied a take away but had a look in the press and found tomatoe and basil wraps which we used as pizza bases, loaded with bits and bobs from the fridge using tomato puree as a sauce. Bloody delicious and not a bit of Suger flour or butter in sight. There is a tasty healthy alternative to everything if we want to put the effort into making it |

Stay away from the cakes on a serious note I use the 80 / 10 rule , 80% good 20 % bad and watch your portion sizes , hand full protein , two of fruit or veg and one of carps . Simple and effective . |

I'm not too bad food wise . More getting back into training after a year of nothing at all afraid of injuries and doing too much too soon. |

"I'll promise to lie still on me back and you do the squats........
Seriously, cycling, swimming, cut down on the hooch.
"
It was a mental year so I let myself chill and go nuts over Xmas, just food mind you as I've never been a big drinker. I haven't worked out in 3 weeks and it shows so I went for a cycle today not realizing how bad the roads were in the Wicklow mountains and came off the bike, battered and brused I eventually made it home. I think I'll just stick to indoor activities and the dark chocolate option until temp goes up a little |

Never drink cold drinks after say for example dinner, drink hot water or black tea .. it flushes all the fats away that would otherwise lodge in your system...
I follow a Slimming World plan and lost 2.5 stone last year. . Back on track next week to get rid of the Xmas excesses |
