After perusing the profiles, i've noticed more and more of the ladies are stating they are BBW. Now, my question is.......what excatly constitutes BBW? Im aware the average size now for a woman is 16, so....Oh im not intending to be rude, i prefer women with some meat on their bones lol, just wondering! |

The reason a lot of women are a size 16 today is because of the way clothes are now made.
To prove this point if I buy clothes today I have to buy a size 16 but if I wear clothes I have had for a few years that are not a size 16 they still fit me.
There could be a conspiracy theory here like a lot of the companies who own clothes firms are also associated to food / slimming food companies you starting to see where I am coming from here? As I said I am not saying it is the case but it could be if I was one of those people who believed in the conspiracy theory then I would tend to believe it |

I'd love to know my self medalist My partner reckons I'm not a BBW but I'm a size 16 and I'm tall! My WII fit and BMI tells me I'm overweight but my gym tells me my bodyfat is average I just do not know!!
Apparantly to be a BBW is to be a size 16+ in american sizes (size 20 uk size) and that a queen sized is 10-14 american sizes (14-18 uk sizes)... Some people call Kelly Brook a BBW and she's only a size 8 ffs
Cougar I agree about sizes... drives me banana's n |

Body mass index is crap, it was formulated in the 19th centuary when people were generally smaller and under nourished. According to the BMI Van Damme, the two olympic rowers who won gold and several other top level sportspeople are obese. It doesnt take into account mucsle mass, bone density or fluid retention. Anyway, i wouldnt think a 16 constitutes a bbw, i was just curious what did lol |

I'm a BBW - actually some would probably say I'm a SSBBW fgs! I'm a 20+ and like ppl to know who/what they're talking to because for some it's a big turn off - doesn't bother me but better to know from the outset |

Looking at your picures, either like me you have good cam angles OR you are cuddly
But then thats IMHO
And there's the rub - we all have ideas on what a size or description of a size means.
I dont call myself BBW - yets theres plenty who would say Im fat (me included) I just dont see why we have to try and give ourselves labels all the time
On here I say Im fabulous. On a thread last week there were those saying it meant everything to Im gigantic to being up myself
Only I know what I mean by it - others will make their own mind up |

wo cares,,as long as the ladies have a good sense of humour and are happy with themselves,,then let the clothing company, diet companies and all the rest go to hell,,
what matters most is the ladies/gents self esteem and thats it,,
