Another superstar is dead so what.It probably was 99 percent his own fault. What about all the mother's father's sons and daughter's that died every day.Where is the threads about them.But of course they aren't superstars they are just normal people.

What a sad poor attitude you have.
2016 has seen the passing of many great music legends and the passing of George Michael on Christmas Day is sad, especially as he has been a part of Christmas with his song Last Christmas. If this thread brings comfort to people then that's all good.

Because all those moms,dad's, sons and daughters probally interact with on average 500 people ie work colleagues friends family. The likes of George micheal has touched the lives of thousands if not hundreds of thousand. Pity u don't put ur efforts into touching people's life's in a positive way instead of trolling |

Let's be honest a lot of those superstars caused their own death with drugs and alcohol abuse. They taught that when you're famous you can do as you please without any consideration for their health. |

Because all those moms,dad's, sons and daughters probally interact with on average 500 people ie work colleagues friends family. The likes of George micheal has touched the lives of thousands if not hundreds of thousand. Pity u don't put ur efforts into touching people's life's in a positive way instead of trolling "
just because they don't interact with thousands of people don't make them any less human than those superstars. |

There is always one troll waiting for a thread to try and annoy people. Superstar or not think we all know you are being disrespectful, just so as to get up people's noses. Wouldn't have been a fan of his music myself, but he did touch so many people's lives and is a legend in doing so. As for saying you ain't disrespectful, think your first line stating 99 percent his own fault is very much so. |

Just read it on forum here and absolutely gobsmacked. A few Christmases ago he nearly died from pneumonia and gave a very humbling speech saying that his greatest gift that year was just being alive.
Amazing songwriter, phenomenal talent, did so much for charity.

Reading his obituary he seems to have been extraordinarily generous throughout his life. He lost his partner to aids at 27 and his mother shortly afterwards.
Yes he was troubled but all of that imploded into him. He seemed to spend his life giving. Secretly gave millions to children's charity without seeking publicity. Fought hard for the right of musicians to own control of their music.
I defy anyone to listen to "send me someone to love "and not feel moved.
George Michael did no harm and faced considerable abuse for his very public failings. He leaves great music and great memories. I wish him God's rest
