Weight training and sex drive

I know there plenty of guys here into Weight training and working out. Infact most guys here seem to have a muscular body going by their pics.

I only got into Weights in my late 30s and have to say its the best thing I ever did. Overall its increased my health, fitness. Libido and confidence. Ive lost 3 stone, but dont have a six pack yet. Still Im fairly happy with my body now.

One thing I find though, is after a heavy weights session I dont feel horny till the next morning. Apparently this common, and Ive spoke to other lads in the gym who have said the same. Its got to do with Testosterone being diverted away from the testicles into your muscles for muscle repair after working out.

Anyone else find the same problem?

If I dont do weights for a few days my sex drive really comes back strong (like right now )

Testosterone doesnt repair your muscles it helps with protein synthesis while rebuilds your muscles the higher your test count i think the quicker or the more protein your body can cope with but not sure on that last bit

I trained with weights for 7 years never effected my sex drive once however i sneeze and get horny so maybe just made mine normal.

Issue would be more your recovery or energy levels...

Training doesn't take away your testosterone levels should elevate it.

Can you not just make it simple and say your a horny yoke like the rest of us here who don't even touch weights . Maybe the lifting takes your mind off it

After a big workout I find the effort to do anything is difficult. Having a good recovery program is very important.

I didn't say it's wrong to be horny all the time.

I lift my weights at home in all sorts of shape but recently in the roofing sector and while it's satisfying it doesn't make me horny

After a hard soild work out either lifting or carido. The hart pumps the blood faster to the body parts that need it most to survive . Unfortunately the dick is not top of the list

After a solid session the blood is flowing through your body so like all of us here we all get a rush in our sexdrive even those who didnt workout lol
