Why do parents get puppies for kids at Christmas. But when January comes around they no longer want the puppy.

Totally wrong to buy a pup for Christmas dog santuarys filling up and the amount of PTS in the year is heartbreaking ...At the least its unfair to bring a pup into a busy noisy home with no time to train them etc at xmas..People should double think before buying a pup or any animal at xmas

Some ppl are selfish fools when it comes to animals.... Think it should way more difficult to get a dog in the first place....the money its cost to make the cute dog Christmas adverts should be better spent on animal awareness
