Hi Folks,
Have any fab members had people from fab pop up on facebook as 'people you may know'.
This happened to me today and it has got me questioning why this could happen? My fab email address and facebook email address are different usernames but are provided by the same powerful provider?
To my mind there should be no link because we have no 'friends in common'.
Maybe this was just a coincidence but I am just interested to hear other fab members opinions?

As above poster has stated you must have logged in on your phone and it match people against your numbers on your phone etc
Think you waiver all privacy rights when you sign up basically |

Only way to stop it is to unsync contacts or take number off Facebook. Ive done both lol . I was recommended to a fabber recently but it was because we are both friends with another fabber |

When you agree to Facebooks privacy terms you accept that they will have access to the cookies that means they can track who you know through what websites, phone numbers etc etc
Facebook is the BIGGEST invader of privacy.... hence they are now a Mega profitable company |

"Its prob cause u have that persons number "
Yes I do actually have their number.
And I have logged into facebook on my phone but only through my phone internet browser. I do not have the facebook app installed on my phone and I have not given facebook my number.
I am not too bothered by it but it is interesting all the same. |

This is because some people add their phone number to Facebook. Then if you have that phone number in your contacts it will come up. I suggest never putting your phone number in Facebook as you can actually search by using a phone number. |
