4 Parties of Ireland

Hi all,
Just throwing this out there, we are thinking of doing 4 themed parties starting early next year, one in each province.
So we are looking for some ideas from fellow fabbers , ie location ideas as you cant beat local knowledge , or depending on the timing would people be interested in attending all four. Ideas on what theme.
With the exception of the first one , the Leinster one which will be held at ours there will be no cost involved but as we move around the country there will be a cost involved to cover the hire of a party venue which will be split evenly among those attending on the night .
These nights will only be open to meet verified people as we have to think about everyones privacy.
Most importantly they will be all about people having a bit of craic and fun and getting to meet different people from different parts of the country.
Not looking for negative comments if this is not for you just move on.

I recon the biggest city in each province would be a good idea. Kinda out the window with leinster but i too would be interested in going. |

Will be easier to meet fabbers from different parts off "our wee country "
Just an idea ... casino night to raise a pound/Euro or two for charity to get the evening flowing and have people mingle.. and not sit in groups .

Right all , although the 11th of Feb seems a while away , you wont feel it arriving once Xmas is done and dusted.
We have a holiday home booked 15 mins outside of Limerick City for the first of these parties.
If you are genuinely interested in attending just let us know. Whilst we will be dividing the rental cost equally between all attendees we cant ascertain what this will be until we have confirmed numbers but it will be a non profit venture.
For everyone's comfort and privacy this will only be for meet verified members. |

We were going to ask for an invite but there may be an issue. Mr Osmium is bi and finds it hard to play within the limites of others. The need to ass rape straight guys may be too much. Life is hard for a screaming bender. |

It's not negative. It's truthful. We find homophobia on a site like this laughable. If it's not your preference then it's not your preference. We have no desire to meet cross dressers but we don't publically announce this fact. Each to their own. If something isn't for us we don't allow it into our home. We would never stick a sign on our door stating our dislikes. |

Some years ago a guy now known as Mr O requested an invite to a party out by Kildare. The request was excepted but certain terms were applied. Mr O had to swear he was not gay or bi. He also had to display all his veries so the hosts could cross check for gay tendencies. The last bit is a kicker. A request was made (but not acted on) to actively view Mr O's account. Basically log into fab and hand the phone over for examination. That lady's and gentlemen is what you call homophobia. Of course this is all hypothetical and if it did happen then the chances are Mr O would comment on a tread about open mindedness. Emmmmm |

We have the Leinster one sorted for the 11th of March and we are working on dates and locations for both Connaught and Ulster , hope to have these fairly soon, but will be posted well in advance |

Oh we know that but as stated the cost of the location will be divided up amongst all attending and then people dropping out drives the cost up , so we have to be realistic what we book and that is to keep costs to a minimum for all attending, like the Leinster one is at ours and there is no charge |
