I had a message from a guy who is well known on here, has a party profile etc, telling me how he can't wait to meet me!! Ughhh!!!!! What an instant turn off dude!!! I personally find it a huge turn off that a man (regardless of race) assumes a woman will sleep with him because of his looks, or job, or what his wallet has inside. The message was presumptuous and therefore off-putting. He can find a profile appealing and be complimentary without assuming I will meet him |

Often the dividing line between arrogance and confidence is your attraction.
If you dig this guy then he's just reciprocating your own feelings. If not then he comes across as presumptuous.
But you are allowed to feel how you feel. The breakdown in communication between him and you happened. He gave you a signal that was the wrong one for you at this moment. Maybe if you meet him at an event you might change your mind. First connections online are not always easy |

It could be that some people that message you may want to match the attitude in your profile,
your profile reads to me that the person although maybe presumptions in his statements felt anything less confident would be instantly dismissed

The man assumed that because he is black that I would be meeting him and to be honest that irked me. To tell me how much he is looking forward to meeting me in his first msg (without even having seen what I look like might I add!) to me just comes across as cocky and very off-putting. Funniest part about the whole thing is all he said was looking forward to meeting not looking forward to fucking or licking or kissing or anything else unless I'm missing something I don't see the problem with the mail. He's a well known party organiser so it's more a PR exersize to him than anything else especially when the lady specifies she is looking to enjoy BBC. |

So I'm not allowed to be put out? Just because he has met all the "usual suspects" on here and just because I like black men doesn't mean I'm automatically interested in meeting him. It's like he saw my profile and thought "oh another one". Nah. I am me, and whether you guys understand it or not, this type of shit pisses me off. Simple. |

Some might see it as Arrogance some might see as Confidence... When people read it they might react you arrogant twat or they might say ohhh you cheeky fecker that is life everyone is different. In this case you saw approach as Arrogance and clearly expressed your views on it and others have expressed their views on it which don't agree with yours. I get that... I've been on and off here for almost 2 years, and believe me 99% of my messages are ignored and deleted because they are sent by people who quite clearly didn't even read my profile... I just felt like having a rant yesterday, honestly I sometimes have no tolerance  |
