Imelda is very yum..and partly for her change cos she don't want be linked to the rockabilly tag ...as a main stream / pop ..lol
Big part of it think .lol..being a musician on that scene ..I love the pin up.look its part of the hotrod culture but she does look yum.both styles ..Darrel her guitarist ( and got her places cos his well respected , talented guitarist singer.. and husband was a lucky man ..they split not long back .not long after having there baby ...i wish her the best..
She's helped bring rockabilly to the charts where it belongs ..lol .
Without it music of today wouldnt be as it is ...keep rocking and stay sick .lol..

Its a strange situation when musicians make the pop world ... the record company s worry that they become strerotype to that style..And the artist then get accused of " selling out " .to the pop world lol
Bonkers but true ..nothing wrong in showing the artists music roots and influence , Only natural ..Imelda originally sang Irish folk.music ...openly admits she don't won't be tagged as rockabilly and being with darrel higham who a big name on the rockabilly world curcuit even tho.it's the music that made her .lol
The good thing too is she encouraged the music and lot more women talent are influence by her and other alike...x.
Its like most Morrissey's band are made up from.rockabilly musicians of the 80s boz boorrer .(pole cat s), Gary day are all big the circuit .and had chart success ,there image changes to suit the pop world .but most wouldn't know..unless into the band lol..
Saying all that Imelda might have a skin head one day .lol.who knows...lol
