Am going to be relocating to Cork for work purposes and too far for a daily commute so looking on daft for a room....... sheeeshhhh the prices for some single rooms even on there.

Thanks very much Madame. Cork is a cracking spot and looks to be a little livelier than Waterford. Who knows - I might get to meet some nice Cork people if I am lucky  |

Hi Candy - yeah looking at commuter towns. Trying to weigh up inconvenience of travelling and fuel costs versus more expensive centrally located spots........hmmmmmm need to do more looking methinks. |
