Morning peeps. I love my music and love coming across musicians on the likes of youtube that i haven't seen or heard before. A couple of weeks ago i came across a guy called Jeffrey Martin after hearing a girl called Anna Tivel. The guy is amazing, she is great too. Loving his tunes so much that i have started to learn some of his tunes on the guitar. Who have you come across recently that some of us may not have heard before? |

I'm the same always looking for new stuff, came a cross a guy called Nahko Bear, won't be everyone's cup of tea but really enjoying the simplicity of his music at the moment,
2 songs warrior people and great spirit are very good.

Try BBC radio 1's live lounge. Every Friday Night Jo Whiley invites an artist or band to play live on the radio, at the end they all play a "mystery cover". It has become the top trumps of the music industry. With everyone trying to out do each other. She then releases an album of these mystery covers every year, it must up to volume 8 or 9 now. You'll hear artists you've never heard of sing songs from your favourite artists, or your favourite artists sing songs from artist you've never heard of. Out of each 40 track album, you won't like every song initially, but they're is songs you'll love, and sings you come to love, I love songs you don't and you'll love songs I don't. In a word, it's just "Class" |
