You need to go off, alone in the woods for 40 days and 40 nights and think hard for yourself dude... What do you like, what are you good at, what do you not like, what would the work really be like, what would the course be like?
Looking for random suggestions for the Internet is likely to fail.
That said don't do something without a decent financial future just because you like it... Work is work and hobbies are hobbies and that philosophy degree mightn't pay the best |

Agree with the first paragraph, as for the second, conversely, don't do something you don't like just because of the money, that's an awful trap to end up in. |

Totally agree, you have more chance excelling doing something you have an interest in! So think long and hard about a course and a career which you have an interest in as you will enjoy it more and reap the benefits. |

Why not go and see a career guidance specialist and discuss your situation. Do you already have a 3rd level qualification?
One of the most important things is to choose a course / job that gives you job satisfaction, no point doing something that you perceive pays well and your bored out of your tree and then you get despondent because you have nothing to give you a challenge. |

"Anything to do with data science
this statistics quants and big data are growth areas"
Yep agree with all the above. Machine learning, big data, dev ops all money spinners in the current IT market. |
