A bit of a random question but Just wondering if becoming part of the the FAB fraternity has increased your want or need to "keep fit" or keep in shape? Have you made a genuune effort to improve your health and look better since you joined FAB or are you the "if they dont like what they see then they're not for me" type?

No, I look after my health in order to be healthy. I have arthritis so keeping moving and maintaining a healthy weight are crucial to good quality of life. |

Arthritis can be very debilitating. Hats off to you for getting on with things and not letting it take over |

Herself trains a lot. I'm deffo tryn to eat better since we returned. And it's more about feeling good about yourself than for someone else. Golf season is over and yes back to the gym I go. |

I guess I am more conscious of how I look. Over the past 18 months or so I have started exercising and training hard and its become a huge part of my life.
Although this was also down to my dad having a health scare and me being more aware of the shape my body was in rather than fab. I don't think I would train just to stay in shape for fab. |

After eating like a pig on holidays during the summer I have definitely been eating healthier for the past few months and I am starting to see the benefits. Now I have to start thinking about exercise. I'm not one for the gym but I think swimming might be more me. After the untimely passing of Axel last weekend it makes you think that it's time to start taking better care of ourselves. |

I'm no health freak by any stretch but I do exercise most days and limit my junk intake during the week. But come Friday and the weekend I do indulge in some really good tasting food.
I've been doing this for years now and sometimes I put on a few pounds but I lose it again quite quickly. I don't worry about it too much, life's too short to be depriving yourself but I will avoid bad health as much as I can. |

"When I joined Fab all that time ago, I was 5st heavier than I am now. But I changed for me, not for anyone/anything else. People have to take me as I am
*reminder to self to take some new pics "
Well the pictures from last year look pretty good, so I'm sure all the guys here are very much looking forward to seeing the new updated pictures!
Personally I try to stay in shape, though it is a battle at times, especially coming into winter with the short evenings. More for my own peace if mind rather than what others think. The extra energy and self confidence I get is well worth the investment in gym time. |
