RIP Axel a genuine legend. His family are steeped in sport. Both his father and sister played for Ireland too and his sister also swam the channel.
He leaves a young family, sometimes life is cruel. |

RIP Axel a genuine legend. His family are steeped in sport. Both his father and sister played for Ireland too and his sister also swam the channel.
He leaves a young family, sometimes life is cruel."
I questioned the mans ability as a manager not the man himself..Munster were pretty ruthless when it came to rob penny..foley in particular learned everything he possibly could from penny then penny got sacked..bit of a coincidence dont you think anyway very sad to hear he passed |

Wasn't unwell as far as I'm aware. Was only at mick galweys 50th last weekend. Friends of mine were with his wife yesterday at their home and nothing was wrong. |

Wasn't unwell as far as I'm aware. Was only at mick galweys 50th last weekend. Friends of mine were with his wife yesterday at their home and nothing was wrong."
You're right, he wasn't unwell, it's just been confirmed by a very reliable source. |

He wasn't unwell it's a complete shock to the family, he was out coaching the young kids on Thursday evening, it's rumoured it's a suspected heart attack nothing has been confirmed....
Family and friends are completely shocked. |

An awful tragedy. His poor family. He's a huge loss to anyone who knew him. Used to love watching munster when he was playing. Was an inspirational leader and captain. Rip axel |

Anyone else?" a lot of the kids here in Shannon are gone into school in their jerseys.. My son has the Munster flag out his window ..taking them to Thomand park this evening.. |
