What are your fab expectations and are they being met?
Lately I find myself contemplating this question a lot. I don't really have a huge expectation, but a base line of interacting with like minded adults, is definetly my minimum expectation. I'm a single guy, why chose fab when getting sex would be far easier on a dating site. It's that expectation of interaction with liberated, open minded adults, that brought me here. Though in some cases, that's being met, there is a small but very persistent element of childishness going on in the background. That really leaves a bad taste and makes me question if my expectations of Fab are actually being met.
So again I ask the question, what are your expectations and do you feel they're being met? |

No... they aren't. Probably mostly my own fault as a small amount of nasty guys has put me off meeting in general. I think I'm just jaded to the whole thing at this stage. I would imagine it's probably time to decide to stay or go but the people I do like, especially on the forums, keep me here  |

I joined because my marriage broke up and missed the physical side. I wanted the sex without the commitment. So yes the site has provided that but also has given me much more. I've had experiences that I would never dream of having in a vanilla life and have made such a wonderful group of friends ( that I can call friends).  |

I joined because I'm single and thoroughly enjoy sex, but don't want the complications of a relationship.

Expectations??? I have no expectations. I'm doing what I want how I want when I want. That's as far as fab goes for me. It's a timeout and an escape from the shite that real life often brings. It makes me laugh makes me giggle and sometimes does my nut in. But hey I can shut the phone off at any time. It's all good |

I wasn't complaining about fab in general more a select few, just letting off some steam..if having a little rant is a reason to leave the whole of fab would have to go Im certain the nice genuine people here far outweigh the bad |

This also.
The part about shutting the phone off is a good point. If you don't like somethings on tele then just change the channel. We are not living in two channel land anymore.
Same for the lads. If you don't like fabs stop complaining and just leave. If you are not meeting and want to meet then you are probably doing something wrong so take a look at that.
Like someone has pointed out, like all the other sites, fabs is just a connection tool. |

No sadly I joined to meet like minded people for some NSA fun. And to some point I have managed to get that with a select few, but it's been a constant battle of endless messages. I like so many thinking it's time to call it a day on here, the number of times I have been let down and sometimes after traveling a fair distance is just not worth the effort, and the number of non replies. I understand to a point some folk are overwhelmed with messages so I guess I can't comprehend what that is like lol!!

I am separated and left dating site to join fab as I did not want a relationship at that point in my life... I wanted sex no complications but with substance and excitement with like minded sexually liberated people. Fab mostly has surpassed my expectations by giving me friendships, banter and escapism. Yes there are day's when it's more frustrating than pleasurable and they are the day's I remind myself that I am not married to fab
I have left once during that time as I had too much going on privately and fab was frustrating because I couldn't do meets etc... I reevaluated what I wanted from fab during that break and came back and adjusted fab to work for me. We all get the idiotic messages...have received some blinders lol but you shudder and block, love the banter with you fab peeps but do loose the run of myself at times 
Love the parties and meets I do go on... I really enjoy interacting with people so it works for me on those levels. Happy with my fantasy fab life and as much crap is ongoing in my life, I am happy with that too.

Expectations are good adult sex with no emotional commitment just fun.
I haven't experienced the childishness because I avoid it. I dont judge people but reckon I'm a good judge of character.

I was really interested to read any couples' responses to the OP and I'm surprised that there are none! I wonder is it a lot easier for couples on here than single people?
Speaking from personal experience, our expectations have been met and continue to be surpassed we don't take this site too seriously, and we try to have a positive attitude about it. I (Mrs) sometimes find myself sending snooty replies to annoying messages but when that happens, Mr tells me to take a step back and just ignore them, and it works. We can laugh the idiots/weirdos off together. For the most part we're friendly and reply to the majority of messages we receive (even if it's a "no thanks") and it's an eye-opener how many guys message us back when we turn them down just to say thanks for being friendly/kind! Makes us realise how tough single guys have it on here. |
