the right side of the river

Well now that I see snotty nosed children running about the shops it won't be long until we are all sneezing, coughing and sore throats,

So for all the wise people out there, what's the best way to fight off the common cold, well apart from spraying jeys fluid all over the germ ridden youngsters leaving a trail of infection all over the place.

Ha ha

Long term use of echinacea can cause hepatotoxicity. ( liver damage ) and shouldnt be taken for any longer than 6 weeks maximum. It can cause complications for those already on medication and can suppress the immune system from prolonged use.If youre eating a healthy diet, theres no need for echinacea at all.

No absolutes have been agreed upon, in some tests it helped, others it didn't.

If your eating a healthy balanced diet there's no need for any supplements be it echinacea or vit c .. The latter causing problems too with extended use .. Old sayings are great aren't they .. Everything in moderation

Exactly, if you eat a healthy diet, don't smoke, exercise moderately and get enough sleep, you will rarely get colds.
