I've been on fab for a couple of months now but have only recently posted more about myself etc. Have messaged a few people and barely ever get a reply. I'm in no way pushy or anything in fact I'm very well mannered. I'm thinking alot of people avoid single males here? Or is it me? :P could maybe do with some advice or tips perhaps. I just want to have fun like everyone else here, no drama good clean fun  |

Hi, I have tried that and unfortunately it's hasn't worked. I have chatted with some nice ladies but they seem to talk the talk but when the walk comes it turns out to be a step too far. I know the ratio is balanced towards the ladies but being judged on a few texts is outrageous. The ability to write a witty text is no way to make a decision on what type of person/partner you are if nonsense. You coukd be copying and pasting the heck out of it. Now, I may be criticised for airing a view but I am just sharing my experience of the site. I have always treated women with the utmost respect and will continue to do so but it is extremely frustrating. Ok rant over.

I totally get you though yeah. like ladies say one liners will be deleted and whatnot which is fair enough but sometimes a simple hi how are you is a good way to start like. Being judged and not replied to because you said that is a bit mad. There's no to a fro. How can you determine if you'd like someone or not before even talking to them? |

Everyones entitled to the right to not want to but a little bit of effort on their behalf goes a long way. Trying to reply to one lined messaged is so annoying I dont even bother! I'd like some good conversations that are more than a line long. I'm actually sound ans very genuine, wish there were more people who'd give a chance.. |

No gender or demographic has it easy on here... Maybe for very different reasons it's not easy.
Single guys think single ladies have it easy because they're inundated ... That'd be fab if they were what you're looking for... Chances are it's like looking for the needle in a haystack..not easy
Couples imagine finding four folk that find each other attractive ...not easy..
Single guys yeah there's lots of us ...the majority do themselves no favours with their profiles and messages ...the minority do it right and enjoy the site and all of the fun laughs and frolic s it holds..
My advice ... Be yourself .. be an individual ... Most of all enjoy and have fun.

Well your profile isn't full of dick pics so that's a plus. Having said that, you might do well with getting rid of your verification photo and adding some more. Maybe you in a suit, out on a hike, doing something unique to you. The puppy/sunset thing is not a bad idea at all. Take a look at profiles of guys who are doing well and see what you can do better.
Following that, you need veris. Get to a party, any party. Be social, introduce yourself, get to know everyone. You'll find you get tons of veris and that will make a huge difference.
Lastly, please please please don't send dick pics. No one wants that. |

Forums are the place to be the private messages most likely won't get read by most females they do bulk deletes quite a lot and some actually seem to love bragging about how many times they bulk delete,so my advice is use the forums be yourself don't bend over backwards for people on here that you wouldn't bend over for in daily life. |

Do whatever suits you...personally ive never been to a meet and greet or party...and probably never will...patience is all you need...some good pics if you can take them...caming in the chat room...or even chatting like a normal person off cam might get you noticed there....get a few meets and get verified by a few people...the only thing that will hold you back is the amount of fabbers in your location...unless you like driving here there and everywhere...but hey whatever suits...sure weve all noticed ye now in the forums...also dont even expect a reply from half the people...mail and forget about it, if they reply they reply...you might still never ever meet them....just have fun. |
