Has anyone ever gone on a date from a dating site and when they show up they look NOTHING like their photos....like worzel gummage changing their head. It's happened twice to me, I'm looking at them and quietly think "this isn't what I ordered"

Went on a date once. Didn't recognise the fella when he walked into the bar but he recognised me. After about half an hour I eventually asked him what the story was- he told me his mate was better looking so he used his photos!!!!

the first time I was too polite and didn't mention his change in head, the second time it happened I had become hardened and had grown a pair of "dating balls" I made like a banana and split...

Happened me recently. The girl was pretty damn sexy in her pics but looked totally different in person and a lot heavier too. She wasn't unattractive as such. Just looked totally different. Iam sure ppl have felt the same way with me given how many times ive never heard from someone after a date lol

it's actually a bit sad that he didn't feel confident to use his own pics

I thought he was pretty brave to show up! But yeah I get what you mean. It's the same as people photoshopping their pictures until they are almost unrecognisable - I'm not saying anyone here does it I just mean in general. It's sad that you'd feel the need to alter what you look like.

I get less nervous going to fab meets than I do dates. The thing about fab is you can talk about it at a social or meet or whatever. There's that common ground you can break the ice with.

Why do women do those "fat girl angle shot's" Do they like seeing how well you hide your disappointment when you meet them ?
