No not the county rim job champions but we're on our way back towards Dublin from Sligo (mmm flashbacks!) And all the 'Go Mayo' signs on the road back in Longford!

Is it always Dublin vs the Rest of Ireland in GAA???

It's just an underdog thing. I was up for Dublin against Kerry but was hoping Mayo would do it.

Im from Longford and watched the game in Galway. I was 1 of a few shouting for Dublin. The signs in Longford are just for business. It's the last big town on way to Dublin from mayo. All rest are bypassed. It's business

Most people will support the underdog, especially when the other team have been successful on a regular basis!

"Most people will support the underdog, especially when the other team have been successful on a regular basis!"

Won't pretend to know much about the GAA but a drawn game and to be beaten by a point doesn't really suggest underdog's

Probably has nothing to do with the fact that quite a large number of dubs refer to the rest of the country as culchies and country people....just saying

I'd be the first to admit that I know even less on the subject, Mayo haven't won an all Ireland in a good many years
