I'm in that mood. I kind of want to meet but the effort is just too much. I'm talking about the preparation 
Maybe I don't want to shave my legs. Or put on makeup. Or choose lingerie. Or fix my hair. Just can't be arsed. Men have it easy.
Is it just me or do ye other ladies feel like this? |

Put on make up ...... I prefer a natural look so no need.
Fix your hair ........ why bother when hopefully it'll end up all tussled and you will end up with bed head anyway.
Shave your legs ........ they can't be THAT bad .....as bad as mine anyway or most other guys.
So where's the problem !!  lol |

I think, just be yourself
Go as u please, dress as you please, if a guy cant see you for who u are, then their not for you, beauty is skin deep, personality is important, having a gud laugh, u will be more remembered for that, then getting all dressed up, and then maybe not hearing from them after that, after all the effort u put in,  |

Ohhh it's effort everyday but worse when meeting. The joy of make Up. Downside of wearing it, some days I can't be bothered to blow dry my hair or slap the make Up on. But if I don't I get you look really ill or you look really tired and pale . I'm none I just look shite without it . Lol |

Jeez, I thought it was only me!
I almost do a happy dance when someone cancels. (Apologies gents). Can stay on the settee in my favourite outfit - one of my boys trackie bottoms and a hoodie that someone left in my house about 8 years ago

Oh totally... and I actually don't think the men even notice or appreciate it. Like it's so much effort.. I havnt met someone new since may cause I just couldn't be arsed. I don't think many of the men here are actually worth all that effort.
Like men do put the effort in in fairness to them but most women could have a meet every night of the week if they wanted so I think it's just effort unless it's someone I really want.
This bottle of wine requires no effort and a glass. End of story! |

As previous poster says, be comfortable. Don't go to huge effort to look like something you aren't.
Presuming that you have chatted prior to the meet a bit in advance, so s/he's seen some, or all, of what's underneath all the facade and hopefully (s)he's interested in the mind that comes with it and all the potential fun that might ensue.
No amount of mascara or blusher will change their mind in that regard, if all those have worked accordingly, so just go and enjoy.
If they don't like what you really are, then all that went before was bullshit and you can still go out with your mates instead, without them querying what you are dolled up to the nines for  |

I've had evening meets for a drink where I knew I'd be off to the pub with friends after. Have found myself wandering down the road to my local wiping lipstick off in case they asked a whole load of questions |

I don't find the getting ready for a meet is what puts me off, more if I am in the mood for company, or not
.
Probably cos I have a minimalist approach to makeup (hate the feel of heavy makeup)and lingerie comes off. So as long as I am showered, hair washed and run brush through it, some body lotion, put mascara on, I ready.
My meets pretty much get me as I am, don't look any different on a meet than i do normally. That maybe not the attitude but that how I roll

That's the drawback on here , can become to easy to sext or swap pictures , takes a lot for someone to stand out and give you that rush and excitement ahead of a first meet .
Maybe the biggest drawback for fab as opposed to real life , who doesn't love the chase |

I rarely get dolled up for meets, I go as I am and if they don't like it sorry bout it! Haven't been turned away yet
Obviously some regular grooming is necessary but half the time I'm just in gym gear and very little makeup. Men don't actually care or notice as much as us ladies think they do. |

I think to be fair we notice way more than you ladies think. There is nothing nicer than a pretty lady who's hair looks great and is dress to kill and just looks like she spent ages making her self look that effortlessly good. Will always turn my head.. casual is ok too. Especially if you have no knickers under them sweatpants. |

With her makeup all over the place, her hair a mess and buck naked. In fact sometimes I find them more attractive in the morning. Yes I get that women need to feel sexy, totally understandable, it's just the concept of sexy that's a bit skewed and makes it so hard. Probably going to get lynched now lol |

Well I see your point. Men aren't going to notice if you put that mascara on. Yet some women feel sexier with these final touches. As do I. Once I'm nude and after shagging a few hours I no longer look nicely presented but I definitely care less at that stage |

I find this a bit of a depressing read. Women, and men, shouldn't feel the need to go to excessive lengths to make them feel desirable. As for make-up, the phrase "less is more" comes to mind. |

Omg!!! I can't believe so many women think the same like me!
And I have felt relieved receiving a cancellation so I didn't have to get ready!
And I really don't mind putting only little make up on, but the hair removal takes ages. And yes, my legs are that hairy!
I've also cancelled meets with regulars who I've invited to my home because I was too lazy to tidy and clean my apartment lol

As a TV I don't understand the attitude of the majority of girls commenting on this thread.
A shower and all over body shave takes 30 minutes, dressing and make up another 30 minutes and you feel a million dollars.
I really don't see the problem with one hours preparation for a meet.
I would honestly have no interest in meeting a girl who was too lazy to spend an hour preparing for a meet.

This would also be my opinion. Don't get me wrong I appreciate the effort you ladies go to. But there's something attractive to me when you have a regular meet on the go and she's comfortable enough to show up casual. I'd perceive that as her being comfortable enough around me to be herself. I can find that sexy in and of itself. |

I love the natural casual look on a woman; t-shirt, jeans, no make up or at least subtle or minimal make up. That's how I dress most of the time, except I put a little too much make up on now and then .
But yeah, confidence and attitude is a turn on for me and I love a 'I'm sexy in whatever I'm wearing' attitude. |
