I've got two tickets to Iron Maiden baby........

More a fan of their 80s stuff. I was very disappointed when they concentrated on post-reunion material at the last Dublin gig I attended (2010 or so). So I'm gonna sit this one out. Hope you enjoy though. |

"I've seen them before, great live act. Probably won't bother seeing them again though. Enjoy "
Same as that...it would remind me of my long-distant misspent youth |

Had the same night. Not going again. They're never going to top their headline at Donnington Monsters of Rock in 1988 on Seventh Son tour. |

Didn't see that one, but I'm sure it was amazing. I saw them in 1990, first tour with Janick. An amazing gig.
Their performance a few years back was good but the setlist didn't work for me at all. The only audience only seemed to come alive when they played Fear of the Dark near the end. |

As some of you have said, I agree their best days are way behind them and I haven't really had much interest in them since the reunion except for the nostalgic tours. I saw the Somewhere Back In Time tour in '08 which was great.
I'm still a huge fan of the classics from the 80s but I have to admit the latest album is great; almost classic Maiden.
At the very least I will be guaranteed a great show anyway.
Up the Irons . |
